Golden gate bridge just looks looks hazy. Its kind of rough out there as far as their quality goes. So i know some of you may berber think in aman to get outside you that run tomorrow morning before it gets too warm. Its really not the best morning for that not just because its smoky but i mean look at temperatures right now hayward berkeley cloverdale. Some other spots not really even falling that much as far as temperatures go last night, berkeley just fell out of the 80s about an hour ago so a lot of you have the windows open last night didnt really get that cool refreshing breeze as you often hope for after such a hot day. Todays highs 80s for San Francisco, very nice change from the 100 degrees San Francisco had yesterday which was the first time seeing that number since 2017 triple digits in livermore in any on that one 10 each san jose today conquered one 09. And yeah, the air quality on top of that which is very poor and it is not the best day to be doing any rigorous activity outside really not a whole lot of activity outside at all. Most of us are lit up in pink indicating excessive heat warnings well at the coast, some of the speeches heat advisories where temperatures will be in the 80s pink areas, mostly 90s to triple digits with 90s from fremont on up to the berkeley and oakland. Well, livermore as i mentioned that one 10 today. Contra costa county Solano County all prone to seeing that very dangerous heat make sure to keep a close eye on family and friends that you know are susceptible to the heat may not have a cool place to get to especially if you are in these pink areas on the map as these areas are going to be our hottest and also some of our worst of air quality so not a whole lot of a good chance to get outside and enjoy. Im just a little bit of the shade because youre just going to be breathing in some of that bad air. Later today or high temperatures rise into the triple digits and 90s for most of us, but i do have good news in this forecast is just not coming today. Im talking about it in your sevenday forecast. Well i got good news for you if you are going anywhere in the bay area at this time if you need to go into San Francisco by way of the bay bridge no problems only a handful of cars heading towards toll plaza. Right now without any accidents from the macarthur maze down onto the streets of San Francisco. Youre looking at around 13 minutes from their this go to the san mateo bridge. This is pretty much what weve seen all morning. This is about as thick as weve seen it for the past couple of hours to cross that span and if you going the speed limit and trust me it is hard to go the speed limit at all that open roadway. Youre looking at about 15 minutes from the san mateo bridge from one side to the other to the golden gate bridge. No problem as well from novato into the city youre looking at about 20 minutes. All right, lets talk then about our big story this morning in the Team Coverage we have the heat there is a power alert thats expected to go into effect this afternoon because of the extreme temperatures thats right and we need to conserve energy even though we will see temperatures as john talked about triple digits. Its going to be tough try not to overuse the ac kron 4 Sarah Stinson live in Contra Costa County to explain why if we all crank it to maximum sarah. Whats going to happen. Well then we could see some Power Outages that is worst case scenario. So we have to conserve and to do so during these triple digit temps you can head to a cooling center like the one that right now this has been turned into a cooling center at the Concord Senior Center open from 1 oclock until 6 oclock during some of the peak. Temperatures its going to be a hot one here at least a 10809 degrees in concord and so this will provide a cool place for people to escape the heat and maybe save on the energy at their homes and a lot of us waking up this morning without the best of sleep since were all tossing and turning in the heat at least a dozen bay area cities recorded high temperatures sunday from this heat wave, the disney was supposed to go away until later this week today we should see a few days a few degrees cooler but cool at all about its going to be very hot the excessive heat drive ease up the electricity demand and use it puts a strain on the Regional Power grid causing kauai us so to call for a statewide stage 2 emergency sunday night. But they were able to lifted you know some of those concerns one away but that was threatening Power Outages, it doesnt mean that were out of the woods quite yet consumer conservation has been credited with helping to avoid rotating Power Outages from happening over the weekend but extreme heat in wildfires are contributing to increased Energy Demand so a flex alert to consumers is still in effect so what can you do to conserve energy take a look at your screen you can put your thermostat if you do have an ac system said it to 78 degrees or higher turn off unnecessary lights close blinds make sure huge keep as much shade on your home avoid using electrical Appliances Use fans but youre miserable and you just cant catch a break. Look up cooling centers in your area there are a few open here in the east bay, including a brentwood in here in concord and its pretty safe to do so theyre going to do a health check before you walk in they require masks and you have to do social distancing so bring a snack briig some water and relax here at a cooling center because sometimes you just need a little bit of a break even if you use an hour out of that heat it really helps theres a specially were not supposed to use a lot of energy when a species that they see well this is one of those things no alternative you can use to cool down its going to be a hot one for now, im live in concord Sarah Stinson kron 4 news all right, thank you very much sara that some bad news to james moscow is close you can go there to cool down a take a look at this over 1000 people crowded ocean beach over the weekend in a burning man celebration. And because of the gathering San Francisco mayor london breed she says she had no choice but to close down the parking lots to ocean beach mayor breed called the celebration reckless and selfish in the wake of the pandemic but the clothes parking lots they didnt keep people away kron fours dan thorn has proof. San franciscos ocean beach packed with people looking for a cooler low cow. The close parking lots were no match for determined beachgoers trying to avoid record setting heat, its see at home it was way too hot to stay home. They wanted to get her fresh so we decided to hit the beach a huge burning man event saturday night forced mayor london breed to close down the parking lot angered by the hundreds of party years ignoring covid19 Health Guidelines she was looking to avoid a repeat. However on sunday beachgoers were forced to scramble to find parking elsewhere if that be just not be open the park nice of you know it was a bad idea because weve got this people still came out. Enjoy the day get refreshed. The outdoors you can stay home. I dont we dont have i dont have lot of them just people who went to the beach they say its important to follow the guidelines and dont have parties that ruined it for everyone i think it may not be out here you need to be same way a mask so should be been did get on with your family you reporting in San Francisco. Dan thorn kron 4 news well crews are ttling nearly 2 dozen wildfires across the state including the creek fire which exploded over the weekend in fresno county. We have video of hikers as they escape the fire that was burning in this year, a National Force look at the flames on either side as theyre driving out. On this one road that eventually was consumed by flames. This fire has forced evacuations as we know its burned 73,000 acres 0 containment this morning. Governor newsom has declared a state of emergency in Fresno Madera and mariposa counties all because of whats happening there. Members of the California National guard even had to rescue more than 200 people by helicopter. And thats what you see here a photograph from inside the helicopter, they were trapped at a popular campsite as flames began to encircle them. Officials with the guards say theyve never experienced anything like this. And to see all of the interagency partners come together with the amount of resources with the uncertainty of what was actually going to come off the helicopter. There were plenty of resources to ensure that all were provided the care that they need. Well a number of local Fire Departments are in fresno to help in the creek fire fact members of the Santa Rosa Fire Department packed up saturday night to head there and this is video of them loading up their gear the piedmont Fire Department in Alameda County is also headed there now to help as well. Cal fire says this year has been the worst year in our state in terms of wildfires more than 2 million acres have burned so far across the state and get this its only september were not even into the peak. The fire season just yet John Lawrence has the story. A pyrocumulus cloud hovering over california caused by major wildfires. This labor day weekend. According to cal fire more than 2 million acres in the state have been scorched does far this year a record and things are likely to ease anytime soon 3 of the 4 largest fires in california history are burning right now. And the heat in triple digits off the charts for even september and were not even close to the peak of the wildfire season, the eldorado fire in San Bernardino area and the fastmoving valley fire and hopital has some residents getting ready to evacuate just exploded and came up to almost wear them now. The intensity of the he was just crazy down. There a while and now start the creek fire is spreading rapidly through the Sierra National forest for the California National guard rescued more than 220 people who are trapped in the mammoth pull reservoir Recreation Area to see. All of the interagency partners come together with the amount of resources with the uncertainty of what was actually going to come off the helicopter. There were plenty of resources to ensure that all were provided the care that they needed im John Lawrence reporting. Well despite the heat fire crews are making progress when it comes to containment for the 3 major fires burning here in the bay area. So heres the update this morning the lnu lightning complex fires in the north bay now 91 contained. It has burned more than 375,000 acres, but all evacuation orders and all warnings for this fire have been lifted so good news on that front. The scu lightning complex fires in the east and south bays 92 contained nearly 400,000 acres burned there and the czu complex fires burning in san mateo and santa cruz counties. Its now 72 contained with about 86,000 acres burned and then the woodward fired our last one to update you on 93 containment with just under 5,000 acres burned. Now to some breaking news from overnight in San Francisco, one person is dead and 2 others injured after a sideshow it happened in the area of russia in parish streets just after midnight. Police were responding to the shade show when they found 3 victims along mission and persia suffering from gunshot wounds. Theyve all been taken to the hospital again one person died. Officials now working to see if the sideshow in the shooting or in any way related. Still ahead on the kron 00 04am morning news students in some Bay Area School districts are returning for in person classes, starting tomorrow. We will have the details and after the break social distancing concerns at dolores park in San Francisco. As its going to be another hot one today for the holidays. And yes, indeed, another hot one well were going to see daytime highs in San Francisco, upper 80s oakland, midnineties san jose triple digits and a lot of us are why ocedar . Because when i get home, we like to play crocodile on the floor ocedar easywring removes over 99 of bacteria, even with just water. Easy and truly clean floors ocedar. It feels great to feel at home when its made with love, its made to be shared. And were back time now a 15 crowds took over the open space at dolores park in San Francisco this weekend to try to beat the heat. Officials are still having to press the point and get the word out that we need to social distance we need to wear masks when we go outside park rangers were out handing out masks actually trying to get people to stick to the designated social distancing circles that have been painted on the grass even in the time of a covid19 some parkour say that outside when its hot like this is better than inside. Ive been here pretty often and i havent gotten it yet so. Hoping for the to everyone they feel is socially distancing and you we are and you have the circles on the ground, so i feel like everythings pretty even like a like that the large happy i everybody have their masks you know like morning who did everything there. Well so theyre out there enjoying it, but if you plan on doing that today obviously. Be careful. I guess thats all we can do is just keep stressing that well im not leaving the house no i get home i do want to hot too hot even if its in the shade john is only a few degrees cool so youre down to lightweight 98. Yeah, i only stick to the shade because i get sunburned so easy. Of the in the basement today just like i was last night because thats the only cool spot left for me. But yeah, whatever you can do just find a cool spot of course do it responsibly its a really rough that were dealing with a heat wave smoke and then of course the pandemic at the same time but were all in this boat together well get through it because there is good news in the forecast just a couple of days away. Berkeley brightening up we are seeing a lot of haze out there as you are also down in the south bay that hes pretty noticeable in the horizon from downtown san jose, very poor air quality for the east bay down through the south bay and on up on the peninsula. Some of us probably had are open windows open last night i dont mind were open trying to get some cool air and and thats the catch with that is of course are pushing that smoke and so if you have respiratory conditions you may want to rethink that 70s and 80s for your current temperatures. Evening lows and berkeley barely fell into the upper 70s. It was the same for you up in cloverdale and down into temper on some really warm temperatures overnight so even with those windows open it only provided some relief, not as much as you would have had had temperatures falling into the 60s everywhere, which did happen for a few of us who are lucky to see those 60s this morning. High pressure means that we do have sinking air across the bay area so any sort of wildfire smoke such as what were seeing at the creek fire and era fresno and mariposa counties is settling down into the valleys like the Central Valley and then being pushed out to the bay area along with that heat so we have hayes you have hot weather of course, not the best combination for doing much on this labor day as for daytime highs, San Francisco does look better today yesterday was their First Time Since 2017 seeing triple digits in the city while 70s and 80s right along the pacific shoreline 80s and 90s from brisbane down through burlingame and triple digits from woodside Mountain View eventually south into the south bay where san jose will be at one o to cupertino right there with you. Santa clara and sunnyvale each at a 100 fremont also at a 100 well livermore hurts to even say it 110 degrees today. Union city through oakland and richmond all in the 90s. Oakland you broke records yesterday today will be a cooler one round record breaking down. Concord walnut creek in san ramon each at one o 9 vacaville, the hot spot at 111 followed closely by fairfield pittsburgh antioch triple digits as well for santa rosa through nevado now with so many triple digits on the map we do have excessive heat warnings. What that tells you is he is dangerous if you know family members or friends who are susceptible to the heat, you know i dont have a good place to go make sure to keep a close eye on them and make sure that theyre being looked out for heat advisories at the coast impeach aside from that pink. Now tomorrow we wont be under excessive heat warnings at least as of now, but he is still going to be with us triple digits. Inland wednesday. We begin a cooling down process by thursday and friday are cool stays in your forecast. I just want to say that family barbecue for thursday or friday, its going to be a lot more comfortable to do it. James all right, thank you very much john happening tomorrow. We have 15 schools in marin county starting in person classes. On that list we have 12 private schools and 3 public schools. The california is on the verge of phasing out its state operated juvenile prison system the move is hailed by reform advocates and criticized by counties that would assume responsibility for some of the states most violent criminal use the bill generally follows governor Gavin Newsoms latest plan to unravel the division of juvenile justice which houses about 750 youths. Advocates say hundreds of millions of dollars would eventually flow to counties to house and treat those youths. Im alexandra le mon in washington coming up, ill tell you about one artist whos trying to bring attention to the issue of gun violence as well as provide healy. Before we get to her story, lets head outside quickly show you the bay bridge toll plaza no traffic to talk about on th to be honest. A little dust . It never bothered me. Until i found out what it actually was. Dust mite droppings . Ewww. Dead skin cells . Gross so now, i grab my swiffer heavy duty sweeper and dusters. Dusters extends to 6 feet to reach way up high. To grab, trap and lock away gross dust. Nice for dust on my floors, i switch to sweeper. The heavy duty cloths reach deep in grooves to grab, trap and lock dust bunnies. No matter where they hide. No more heebie jeebies. Phhhhew. Glad i stopped cleaning and started swiffering. And welcome back as the country deals with that covid19 pandemic one artist is working to bring attention to another epidemic that is that the u. S. Is dealing with gun violence. Washington correspondent alexandra le mon has the story. Leslie lee is a portland based artist who founded the soul box project after the Las Vegas Strip shooting she began researching statistics about guns and shootings in the u. S. , the servers are so huge. Theres no way that people can comprehend these kinds of numbers and were talking about 70,000 people a year that are killed or injured by what she decided to depict the problem visually with origami boxes she calls so boxes each one represents a person killed or injured by gunfire in order to have a response you which is. I dont want to be part of this problem and the slovaks project has a second purpose people who have been impacted by gun violence and participate in making the boxes say its helping them heal really did giacomo is a surgeon in Northern California who works with gunshot victims if that person loses their life. There is not a lot of time or opportunity in the workplace to acknowledge that lost life she heard about the soul box project from her sister jess obviously resonated with me to giacomo says now she and her coworkers are able to process their emotions by folding the boxes exhibitions are. Life changing anyone who wants to get involved can find information on soul box project dot org. In washington, alexandra le mon. A 27 is the time coming up families looking for local parks to beat the heat today were going to take you to one in the east bay and let you know what you expect when you get there. Meanwhile, heres a live look outside not outside but better temperatures that will expect this afternoon again were well over a 100 degrees for places like antioch and livermore concord. Wouldnt it be nice if there was a place that kept you. Vibrant outdoorsy mischevious restored zen sparkly cheeky. clears throat disciplined dapper prepped smart hopeful brave and safe . Well, there is, and always has been. Walgreens. Everyones place, for healthy and safe. We know these are challenging times. Rest assured, you are not alone. Weve all had to adapt. And with summer here, your energy bills might go up with rising temperatures. Together, we can save energy and money. Try closing your shades during the day. Setting your ac to 78 or higher. Or cooling off with a fan when you can. United we are always stronger. Stay well, california, and keep it golden. And welcome back lets take a look at the forecast is going to be hot hot high. Yeah. How hot john you make it sound more fun than it actually no fun for any of us and yes, it is going to be another really really hot one yesterday was shattering records all across the bay, San Francisco oakland, san jose santa rosa. Just to name a few spots that really set new records and by not just a close call but but in quite a lot today not going to be as hot as yesterday still hazy still hot. I dont want to say its a cool down because it is definitely not that i mean were already starting a warm morning off with high rip current temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s for hayward berkeley timber on cloverdale some 60s mixed in there, youre the lucky ones this morning that actually did get a bit of a cool down a lot of us didnt get a whole lot of relief last night and will continue to see some rather hot conditions on into the afternoon a lot like yesterday livermore manioc up above 100 degrees at one 10 each conquered at one 09, excessive heat warnings in effect for most of the bay area and you can see that that even affect much of the peninsula from south San Francisco through menlo park as these areas will be well into the 90s if not triple digits where youre under heat advisories and peaches really just the immediate coastline in San Francisco. Triple digits again for the south bay, including san jose. 90s right along the bay while you head over into the tri valley and its triple digits from the tri valley through conquered in walnut creek, richmond holds on to the 90s as does delay hoh but areas like Fairfield Vacaville dixon rio vista not just at a 100 degrees but a 110 above so these pink areas on the map where we are experiencing those triple digits in 90s. These are areas where you do want to check on your neighbors that maybe are more susceptible to the he family members that are more susceptible to the heat as we are going to be seeing very dangerously hot conditions this afternoon paired with very poor air quality in fact very poor right now on the peninsula, the south bay, the east bay and pour for pretty much the rest of us across the region as we are seeing those hot dry on shore winds also pulling out smoke to the bay that is settling down into the Central Valley from fires like the creek fire burning up in Madera Fresno and mariposa counties later on today as i just showed you its triple digits again inland 80s and 90s closer to the coast in the bay. I know thats a lot of bad news as far as weather goes. But and our full forecast ahead i am talking a light at the end of the tunnel as far as this heat wave goes. Well, lets take a look at the traffic conditions or lack thereof ive been saying all morning, heres the bay bridge toll plaza this is about as bad as its gotten all morning and its just free and clear no problems if you need to go from the east bay. Into San Francisco, lets go to the san mateo bridge if you need to go to the peninsula if youre the peninsula and you need to go to the east bay. Nothing but free just roadway in front of you be careful i guess im guilty of you know you can go too fast. Chp officers are definitely patrolling make sure you go the speed limit and make sure you go the speed limit on the richmond sandra fell bridge. Look at all that open roadway. No problems anywhere in the bay area. Lets get back to our main story this morning which of course is the extreme which are tempting people to head outside and over to parks and beaches lakes trying to find some relief from the heat kron fours phillipe djegal reports from lake chabot where they saw a lot of traffic over the weekend. A crowd was expected and the crowd showed up is great to be out here you feel safe everyones just like kind in own thing and doing so from a distance a day before the grass near the lake Chabot Regional Park marina in Castro Valley was essentially bear but on saturday, a different story families huddled up keeping to this weekend. So we didnt want to stay inside you on hold when had the same idea she wanted to paint with her friend but not indoors where they have to keep face coverings on the whole Time Outdoors they only covered up when close to other people. Its nice hike everyones kind of cooperating you know just were all we all want to like the outside but then everyones like ok like social distance and kind and i the east bay Regional Park district staff to for the Holiday Weekend to make sure the crowds caps 8th, most common areas were closed off to discourage picnicking and barbecuing even the restrooms were shut down the rental building was allowed and so was fishing but donald bren has says the fish were not biting into their first of all warmer now so fisher well davor them like takers hit the trails early in the morning to avoid the hottest hours of the day really wolf and his partner walked a ninemile says pretty warm and were looking forward to a swimming pool, maybe this afternoon sounds like a great idea in Castro Valley police should all run for news. Well despite efforts to beat the heat governor newsome wants people to stay home today saying it wont take much to undo all the progress that weve made so far fighting the coronavirus. In fact in a tweet the governor said the states case load its Positivity Rate in icu rates are all down. And he wants people to avoid going to large parties and encourages everyone to use masks to help keep those numbers down and continuing to trend downward. As the wildfires continue to rip through our state help is coming from other states and we certainly need it because the wildfires are historic and some of the firefighters are coming from as far away as new york as of this morning, there are nearly 15,000 firefighters battling 23 major fires, including the lightning complex fires in california since the lightning seeds, the started back on august 15th, there have been nearly 14,000 lightning strikes in fact, those fires they believe was started because of lightning. Now during that time period there have been 900 new wildfires which have now burned over 1. 6 million acres. There have been 8 People Killed from the fires and nearly 3300 structures destroyed. All right. Well meantime a mishap with pyrotechnics at a gender reveal party may have sparked one of nearly a dozen wildfires are now burning across the state cal fire says that a Smoke Generator that was part of that party could be behind this eldorado fire in San Bernardino county that fire has forced evacuations now has grown to 7,000 acres in size. Ive been watching the spire first of all for the last 2 days watching it grow and never thought it would come as far as it did in all of a sudden it was leaping towards my home and the dog. The fireman was knocking on the door for me to get out i had to leave my cats like we had water in my purse and went. And the fires also said to be about 5 contained this morning, well hope that number continues to grow. On the kron 4 morning news we are nearing another Government Shutdown if lawmakers dont agree on a budget. What lawmakers are doing this weekend to try to avoid that. And next some bay area baseballs the giants take on the diamondbacks will show you also the oakland as and how they did over the weekend. And another check in with your day planner because it sure is going to be another hot one today triple digit heat for most of us across the now to bay area baseball, lets talk about the giants who are hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks at oracle park, good news for the giants they were behind and then they got a lot of help from the 3rd inning on when chad week trump. Its a solo homer to left center field. The giants was still down at that point until help is on the way from Donovan Solano he steps up to the plate. Its one d to left field for a tworun homer all reliable lefty brandon belt there he is right there. Solo homer in the 7th inning the giants ended up beating the diamondbacks for that too they finish up the series today at 5 oclock at oracle park across the bridge to oakland the as were hosting the San Diego Padres and 100 degree heat of the coliseum record temperature first pitch at the coliseum the 7th inning the padres are up when they hit a 2 run homer. That was the dagger for the yeas the pod race ended up winning 5 to 3 the as theyre not going anywhere their home for labor day as they will take on the Houston Astros at the college 6. 5. Top tennis player has been disqualified from the u. S. Open. Weve got Novak Djokovich disqualified from the tournament after he struck a ball that hit and hit a lines woman on sunday. Heres video of it there it is in slow motion. He was an aiming at anybody retailer but the ball hit her near the throat. And she ended up falling to the ground there you see his reaction tournament rules are pretty strict when it comes to behavior towards judges and officials disqualified him on the spot. Djokovics issued an apology saying he checked on the woman that shes doing ok. But there you see how it all went down. All right well talk more headlines coming up here in a minute and also the weather because that is topping news this morning. Temperatures once again. Its going to be way up there in the triple another hot day, especially out in the inland east bay 110 not out of the question. Be careful. And were back at 8. 44 happening today, bart will be running on a sunday schedule today for this Labor Day Holiday which means that they didnt get started till 8 this morning and will be running on a 24 minute train frequency. So they wont be happening as often as you would typically expect on monday so just keep that in mind. And the number of people passing through security at us airports this Holiday Weekend could set a new pandemic record air travel is still a fraction of what it was pre pandemic but the tsa thinks the number of people passing through americas airports will break a new record over the pandemic a Holiday Weekend. The high point on thursday was 10 times the low point seen back in april the tsa estimates that 900,000 people flew on friday. But those numbers will not be official until tomorrow. All right lets talk about the weather once again john trouble looking at the forecast for weve been talking about it all morning. Long im sure youve been talking about a 2. How hot its been over the weekend i would love to hop on an airplane to go to someplace cooler like phoenix. Martyrs margaret cooler, you know honestly, its kind of up in Glacier National park this morning. Theyre getting snow. So there is parts of the country. There are vastly different then phoenix all the way to here in the bay area. Weve been seeing 120 in some cases, san louis obispo got up 220 degrees yesterday, San Francisco got up to a 100 for the First Time Since 2017. So yeah, these are some historically hot numbers were talking about as far as we go this morning it is warm berkeley you held on to 80 degrees almost all night. Long you briefly fell to 79 news of your windows were open all you were doing was letting 80 degrees and and some smoke which is not good. We are seeing very poor air quality on the peninsula, the south bay in the east bay. So the last thing you want to see when its hot, i know you wanted to get outside get that morning run out of the way definitely not the best morning for that u c berkeley sitting at 80 degrees right now oakland and alameda at 74 San Francisco at 82 currently cloverdale also in the 80s a couple of spots like santa rosa, youre lucky down at 66 and enjoy that moment because a lot of us are not getting it. A lot of us really stayed warm overnight. Now High Pressure is in place going to keep a high as it forces hot dry air from our inland valleys out towards the coast. What this also does is fires like the creek fire burning up in fresno mayor oppose him and our counties putting up a lot of smoke that dust settles into the Central Valley and then gets pushed right out to the bay one of the reasons why even though our fires are coming down in the bay were still seeing so much smoke, 70s and 80s for your highs and San Francisco, sure beats that 100 yesterday while 70s and 80s as well right along the coastline on highway one 90s for millbrae through burlingame all the way south through edwards city in palo alto goes out the woodside Mountain View and were talking triple digits now much like yesterday, san jose you also broke a record yesterday and today youll be within striking distance, dublin, Pleasanton Livermore hovering right around a 110 degrees. Union city hayward through oakland up to richmond all in the 90s concord in walnut creek as well san ramon, each at one o 9 while youre hot spot today is vacaville at a 111 degrees little cooler at the coast as you would a mansion, but i mean Stinson Beach still at 82 degrees today. Now we are under excessive heat warnings until 09 00pm area shaded in pink is all of us except for the immediate coastline in San Francisco which are under heat advisories will see highs mostly in the 80s.
