Its not like a neighborhood that you see obviously in San Francisco, but there are homes, there are lots of ranches and right now many of them went up in flames, we showed it to you all morning on the kron 00 04am morning news, this pg any right there off in the distance of their part of the response team. They said that they did energize d energize i should say de energize most of the lines if not all of the lines we have not heard of any transformers exploding at this particular point way off in the distance, those are neighborhoods in actually told us to stay at this location. Just in power. The poll comes down and we could be trapped because a lot of these power poles went up in flames as well so they told us they dont want to run in there to save us if necessary so were going to stay right here. But look at that james story off in the distance as well, black smoke and ive been telling viewers for a long time black smoke basically means is reached new feel new material so its burning hot and heavy and its moving unimpeded nobody stopping them. The Fire Department and ive seen many of them from many departments so far in the bay area, nothing far away just yet like say fresno or down in Southern California because they still need time to get to this location so looks like a bay Area Response at this particular time. The morning sky is just filled with smoke breathing is a major issue embers flying around look at the sun is just behind that smoke making it extremely orange at this time. And yes that heat is here. Let me tell you its going to make a difficult job, even that much harder for the firefighters guys yeah well well we talked about there are 4,500 homes now under the evacuation orders. In vacaville is the chief was saying. That when they went to bed, they thought ok the first round of evacuations will do it. Then this morning more people at you know 7 oclock this morning or just trying to get out of their homes have you seen that area be a little more active with people leaving. No actually what we showed at the top 6 oclock we saw a lot of the people flee already they got their knocks at the door they didnt sleep make no mistake about it they they knew this fire was on the ridge they were hoping it would not get close to their home they did so they got some things ready to roll and then they left and we if you watched us at 6 oclock in the morning. We showed it to they were next to highway 80 on an onramp at cherry gland just watching it i cant even imagine just how helpless you feel when youre sitting in the back of your pickup truck in the bed just watching the fire just get closer and closer to their homes. Right now were not hearing of any fatalities or any injuries. Im told by the firefighters that they will try to talk to us a little bit actually i try to interrupt him a little bit there like that you were busy going over tactical plans to be at 9. 30 will get something from cal fire to see how many firefighters they throwing at this. But theyre working their phones. Theyre looking at their maps. Let me see if i can ask him one more its no you know what john well check back in with what well check back in with will because we have Sarah Stinson same problem you had will shes about to have to move his vice closing in on her yes, lets get up to her now still in guerneville sarah. Yes still above guerneville here on sweet sweet water springs road and its really a starting to pick up those kind of phil dead for a little bit there because firefighters worked so hard over night, but then the wind picked up and look at this its starting to flare up behind me. You can see the trees are catching fire. Let me zoom in really quick. So you can see that look at that its going to. Approaching the road could have thrown go to the other side and thats kind of what they were trying to avoid because they didnt want the fire to head down to guerneville so there is a section of sweet water springs road in the direction you need to head to leave the area. No thank goodness i dont have to leave theres 2 ways out which is also very very comforting us one more than one way out. So that would be one way and then you can go this way. Down to guerneville that way and this would have been showing you all morning long. The smoke has gotten thicker you guys look at that, ive heard several explosions in the area, you know thats propane tanks. Theres a collapse probably a did see a real house on mcrae ridge road that was surrounded by charred land and the firefighters were able to save that house. But i think a lot of houses that are in this very tricky terrain are not going to make it this is very very tough, they said theyre not even able to get inside and that so theyre going to have to fight fire with fire. Im just going to show you those flames one more time before heading out of your name and they they really did a lot of work back here, but it looks like its picking up again and it could pick up even worse you guys won. The wind gets bad at like 3 oclock so im truly back here soon. All right, thanks a lot. Gerri you know an actually want to join live now. Sonoma county officials because theyre giving us the latest on the fires just over 25 acres in size we benefited from good weather overnight into the Early Morning hours as the number again at this time. No says is fairly good for that fire but with the winds coming in this afternoon. We expect the ship the net increases the potential that fire spread. The second fire wonder is a quick. Were still want a major concern that is now called the wall or call ridge fire. Were seeing both teams being used by cal for this time. But the wall fired spend it Late Afternoon into the evening to 1500 acres. The fire itself is spreading generally south and southwest. At this time is now just an answer its very very far northern edge. There are strong redwoods state park. The fire itself is expected to continue to grow in size as it continues to benefit from changes in weather in addition to the winds picking up this afternoon. We expect to see a significant drop in the relative humidity. So as things dry out of course are more likely to burn as the winds pick up or all seen a significant potential for a number cast of 2 potential one mile in front of the fire itself. So spot fires will be a concern. Were also now addressing a number of other smaller fires that if theyre caught up in the county. Potentially leftover son thats under storms that came through 2 or 3 days ago. So its going to be a challenge to address these. One of our Major Concerns at this point is see and billy to bring additional firefighting resources to bear given the nature of the number of the scope of the fires that are burning elsewhere in the state, especially in northern california. We expect to receive relatively limited assistance from outside Sonoma County. So all resources that are present within the county. Our tree much those are going to have to fight the fire with that. This time. Those the major highlights except that evacuations continue. In terms of being assessed as potentially needing additional areas to be warned back yearhe interaction ordered to evacuate. Well have more information. Later this morning into the afternoon as we see hellfire a wall fire performs that completes my initial comments and certainly. Of 2 regarding questions. So the way were going to do it chris needs to get to work so were going to feel that before we go to our supervisors and give us some insight and the front lines our chris is going to take a few questions what id like to do is just raise your hand if if you have questions and i will call on you. You so i believe. You see. Is anybody have any questions okay, so actually there about cancer is consent john questions hes the fire chief from a vacaville we already spoke to him live on our air this morning and he told us about the new evacuations that they ordered said that theyre hoping that they can get some additional help out there because vacaville is really stressed right now with fire closing in on them. Our sister station ktxl is providing us with Team Coverage this morning of a reporter out there to olivia de janeiro is live right now so lets go to her and get her Vantage Point libya. Good morning. Daryn yeah this Vantage Point really shows what People Properties are looking like right now were just north of the city of vacaville and once you get out of the actual city, its a lot of rural land a lot of pasture space and you can see a lot of sick tall brush thats burning over hillside coming close to homes burning homes in many cases, this fire as you mentioned has expanded to 46,000 acres right now with no containment and firefighters tell me resources are a big part of the battle was so many fires burning all over the state they dont have a lot of engines out here to really be able to come back these flames at a back you asians have been ordered all over the region of course in vacaville itself in Solano County Sonoma County napa county even parts of yolo county the winters area being evacuated now so weve seen a lot of people. Loading up their trucks loading up their rvs and trailers with as many belongings as they can knowing full well that california wildfire season means that once theyre evacuated, they may not have a home to come back to have also seen a lot of people spraying down their front yards with their hoses trying to create some sort of Defensible Space at the last minute just in an effort a lastditch effort to save their homes and i do want to point out that its not just people that are affected by these fires because this is such a rural area were seeing a lot of livestock and people struggling to get their livestock off of their properties were says my horse pastures here and in fact a personal note as we were standing on this road about 20 minutes ago a dog came running straight up to me out of nowhere i grabbed him i put on my car because thats what you have to do in this situation not trying to track down his owner of that really were just seeing everybody people and animals trying to get to safety trying to get out of the line of these flames reporting live in Vacaville Olivia degennaro fox 40 news all right, thanks a lot olivia. Yeah thats a thing just get him out of the area and will reunite him later thank you so much so we are right that is part of our Team Coverage with said john in the Weather Center has been tracking all the weather aspects. To our coverage namely the winds of the smoke john, and of course the heat when we have on tap for today you can hear the wind world of us standing there just outside of vacaville and winds are going to pick up closer to the thats going to be good for the smoke that were experiencing which is settled into the bay. Obviously not so good for wildfires. We have seen a steady wind up in northern Solano County through vacaville throughout the course of the evening and thats one of the reasons. This fire. The hennessy fire spread as rapidly as it did still under red flag warning including vacaville itself and one of the reasons for that a steady north wind at 30 Miles Per Hour and low humidity coupled with that. This blaze that was born a burning right around Lake Berryessa up in napa county. Thats the one that plowed through into Solano County during overnight hours. These steady winds have not changed much all through the course of the show this morning maintaining at around 10 to 15 Miles Per Hour. Throughout was peak up to spanish flat and directly out of the north northwest and that is exactly the direction. The fire came from spreading to the southeast on into vacaville, we will re see this wind remaining all the way through Early Morning hours tomorrow and that is a dry wind further inland little closer to the coast, its been calmer but winds are starting to pick up now and will continue to do so directly out of the west. That poses a risk to fires burning in both sonoma and marin counties, although it does sound like this marine county blaze, progress has been made on it a little further south along the coastline right along the Santa Cruz San Mateo county line another complex burning in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Winds have been calm overnight here but well pick up first at the coast and then further inland and that will pose a risk to the spread of that blaze to of course it has been cool overnight daytime highs later today are going to be just as warm for many areas they have been still another day with excessive heat warnings 60s 70s and even 80s right now livermore concord pittsburgh. These are your current temperatures. Pittsburgh at 86 degrees conquer to 82 right now fairfield already warming up its breezy its getting warm and its a very dry. So that is the issue out there and Solano County as you can see that fire rapidly spreading 70s 80s, 90s and triple digits return inland conquered a nanny october hottest spots today. Napa up to 98 degree we our this morning that the evacuation area had grown in vacaville because of the big fire heading their way absolutely you can see why these pictures. The smoke is blowing in the direction of vacaville right now and thats the direction. The fire grew overnight, it started out. Fairly close to Lake Berryessa but as folks went to bed and woke up this morning, this is what they discovered the burn area had grown substantially growing south and east from Lake Berryessa down into the northwest corner vacaville early this morning. It was western vacaville from about north orchard avenue out to the west that had to be back with the story mentioned they made the decision this morning as the fire continues to grow to now evacuate a good chunk of northern vacaville from Browns Valley road. All the way to the west to meet up with the earlier evacuation zone. So now the orders continue to grow and you said what how many 1000 pounds a yes of counting the evacuations that they already issued overnight and then this morning thats 4,500. Homes that are in harms way and we already know and at least 50 homes have been burned on the outskirts of vacaville not vacaville proper they were you know up in the hills and the mountains this kind of ran chats and ranch land that has burned down so far that we know of that map that you just saw that another area thats sonoma. The Sonoma County area that is affected by these fires, theres 2 dozen fires, yeah, and thats where Sarah Stinson was reporting for us in our last update from her and she had to bug out because the fire started to go up the ridge line and to the road where she was station this morning. So shes having to relocate because of this fire see a line on gillsburg while goes from red to yellow i was reading about a winery they were in danger. The firefighters were able to say that theyre okay so many wineries in that area. Really. You got to you got the fires to the north to the south to the east everywhere around the bay area. 5 different counties experiencing fires right now a couple of dozen fires. And theyre sure to spread because were spread so thinly and the winds are supposed to with flames up as well as find more about that john in the Weather Center with a look at the weather side to all of this john yeah fires pretty much everywhere you look across the bay today and smoke everywhere you look because of it. Thats what were seeing in San Francisco as well as across the bay area, some of the worst air quality in the world right right here in the bay area thats what happens when you get these fires and as much of them as we are seeing in fact enough smoke the Santa Cruz Mountains actually being detected on radar right here that plume right up there from the Santa Cruz San Mateo county line or complex. The fire that is spreading the most or at least said overnight at least towards vacaville is the hennessy complex which was burning still is right along Lake Berryessa but because of the strong north northwest winds pushed rapidly overnight towards vacaville last night and not is why we are so concerned about county very dry winds very hot weather here and it has been a persistent wind overnight will remain persistent into tomorrow morning right there at the eastern edge of the coast range into the western end of the Central Valley winds, although com right now will pick up at the coast so for marine in Sonoma County blaze is that means we are going to see the potential of further spread and right there at the santa San Mateo County line where you can see that smoke plume detected on radar moment ago we are going to see winds picking up as well as far as the future cast a wind gust goes. Calmer in the south part of the bay right now definitely windy europe north as we work our way through the day look at how these wind speeds generally increase up the coast all across the north bay and for inland areas. Bayside areas themselves may remain calm, but we will have some very steady winds up in the north bay 30 mile per hour gusts around a sonoma. Napa and solano counties where we do have so much spread already occurring winds only going to be picking up humidity remaining low with High Pressure in place that means hot weather sinking air so hayes is going to stay with us through the remainder of your wednesday, not going to be an issue on to the rest of the week very likely 60s and 70s for your highs and San Francisco as well as along the coastline. That coastal breeze thats picking up at least its going to keep our coastal areas cool under inland areas just a touch cooler its not going to be enough though to make much of a difference. Were still solidly in the 90s to triple digits for many of our daytime highs. Morgan hill up at a 100 degrees today upper 90s in the tri valley 80s from freeman through oakland up to richmond. While triple digits remain in concord walnut creek in danville around the vicinity the fires burning up in sonoma and Solano County expect triple digits to near triple digit temperatures, vacaville up to 98 today fairfield 97 youngsville up to a 100 for your high. Santa rosa petaluma down through sandra fell all in the 90s. Tomorrow will be a touch cooler but still staying dry and its still going to be another hot one even with the cooldown highs remain in the mid 90s through tomorrow on into the upcoming weekend. James, all right john thank you and again as we get deeper into fire season with these fires popping up in the. Whatre we talkin about. Thats the hefty ultra strong bag hefty hefty hefty whispers gimme. confused give me the bag . Get hefty ultra strong at a low price welcome back it is 9. 24 right now and lets continue our breaking news which is the fires in the bay area and the big one thats headed towards vacaville, we have Sonoma County officials on a social media giving a live update right now to the residents of the area to everybody lets dip into some of that. And take a quick listen to what the latest is orders and then back away shun warnings. Is specifically for a. For for the area of interest right now because thats where we have to deploy our resources. The only other thing i would say is that were a battle hardened bunch. This has a very different feel to it than our fires at 1719. Especially if you look back to 17 im not just like supervisor hawkins site was out and about most of the day yesterday will be today. While many people are our First Responders are a public official you know every the neighbors. We have been talking a lot of people who say got here it is again, but theres a difference between saying here it is again and im packing my bags and im preparing myself and im staying in communication. Then in 2017 we had basically a frenzied frantic chaos so there is a there is a degree of resolved out there but our focus has to be. On the folks that are that are in these areas number one and then making sure that our resources are directed towards those access and functional needs individuals who are not who need assistance to be able to thats not thats vulnerable populations. Motto is when your kids yet to see a k incendio come and gone he was the sole throws if you and the lock on the on the on the run, so were listening to the Vacaville Police chief talk about what theyre doing there to try to fight these fires also help people he just mentioned. Before we took that a live shot that theyve got all these extra Ventilation Center set up for people because of covid and even opening certain hotels to them in fact to help accommodate some of the newly evacuated this morning theyve gone had opened up Joseph Nelson Community Center. Were going to go down the suits us a little to your south but thats where it is at 6. 11. Village drive and soon as the Joseph Nelson co 9. 29 right now and we want to get an update now on the fire that is coming close to vacaville. Its already had a lot of people who live on the fringes. The outskirts of town burning up buildings there but they want to make sure that everybody stays safe. So theyve expanded the evacuation zone. And earlier this morning were talking to the fire chief Kris Concepcion is back on the line right now. So we can get an update good morning. Good morning to you ok so are things getting worse or better would you say in the last couple hours. Say theyre and so i wouldnt say its getting worse or better. We got a new threat i dont know the last time we talked you if we had made decision to evacuate our Browns Valley area of the city. So early is not about 3 of the sitting on the west side of rounds all you go down to a market and you need to is is now under an evacuation. Order. Show that so now we we we estimate that there is a total of about 4,500 homes, total that are threatened in the city about to go so thats thousands of people because you know i families live in there thats a number of people. What are the extra challenges youre facing because of the heat and the pandemic as far as getting these people where they can be housed for who knows how long. So those 2 factors absolutely absent challenges to us especially the pandemic and so what you have to just result extra. Evacuation center. So we have to leave accusations that them i told you about earlier bomb that are still open mic fiveyear santa and person who shot her last Community Center as well as the at t center on davis and then a School District has been very gracious to allow us to use some of their schools has funded accusation is concerned because were trying to were trying out best to make sure that social distancing is in in all covid code for the call is in so of the biggest of regulations and well you online with i schools i you know all the schools are in session, the kids are going to the school so at least. Weve got that big buildings that can accommodate a lot of is there any area or any risk that youre also looking at any other areas that youre looking at an addition. To what youve already evacuated. Ah yes, so right were watching very close to schedule or making its way around so the priority in the last couple hours has to do the northeast part of our city that that brown county and that i told you about that now we just got reports that john on the southern edge of our city along cherry glam. That is the fire is up against the freeway and the winds are or to do that theres a potential that it made longer so were watching that very carefully. Im and im trying our best but we have this notion of bill frist yeah we see your evacuation zone goes alamo drive down to the freeway see think if that fire on the southern edge. Creeps in because you may have to expand that portion of the evacuation zone as well you keeping an eye on that portion. Yes we are keeping an eye on and theres a possibility that we may have to do that at this point just possibility would not pull the trigger on that yet. Definitely want to make sure all the residents are monitoring. Our web site on watching the broadcast as well monitoring the social media sites. And as soon as we make that decision we wont cast doubt down. And in may make it known to is why a number of people as possible to complicate things now you have to get people out that the people want to get their animals out causes a lot of ranch land thats threatened as well. Ah yes in so a office of emergency services, Emergency Operations center is activated. And as far as large shelter, ive accusations center. Theyre defendants jon boyle the fairgrounds okay okay. Very chris thank you so much chief conception again giving us another update this when is the next scheduled update that people can look forward to if you know that at this point. If you want to give you a of the hour so it can cut up into a that would be good that we great thanks so much chief. Thank you very much and we keep showing in vacaville to keep checking in with will tran whos had a move throughout the morning depending on where the fire is going. And one point is looking this way and its very now weigh in. And youve youve been feeling for the animals to well i know following the cows are theyre following you to safety. Now its one surrounded by chaos but unfortunately right now theres not much they can do about it because theyre so busy trying to save structures you can see theres cal fire right behind me. I have an update as far as the condition to try to get him live on channel 4. But he says i cant i have a moment with you so heres the latest information. According to calfire they have dozens of homes that have already been destroyed it started in the Lake Berryessa area and its moving in this particular direction of course because we are in vacaville, hundreds of homes are threatened. The biggest challenge according to calfire that one of the commanders i spoke at this particular location. He says it will be resources. Theres so many fires all over the bay area that he said he could not speak of what out of state resources will be coming but they are asking local departments from the bay area. We need your help come to this location. But theyre spread thin with the all the other fires that have been happening that weve been covering this part of our Team Coverage. So thats going to be the challenge moving forward you can see the hillside right there in. These cows they may move fast to get that now they are back at the base of the hill right next to the smoke and that flames the power lines pg any pg and e is here as well. Theyre working with the Fire Department to see what they can possibly do it looks like most of the lines have been de energized at this particular location. It does not appear any homes or imminently threatened as far as this stretch of road here but we do know down the road there is a neighborhood that did catch on fire and a lot of those homes or destroyed as well. Some people are coming and going it looks like this is a civilian car. Let me see if i could stop this particular cause well anyway vinci if i could talk to this particular person. Excuse me excuse me are you one of the the get all her dogs in the car are you one of the evacuees. All my im so sorry. Were from janet for all im so sorry so you do you got you knew your house is on fire when you left we want to look at whats going on were you an inside the home at the time im sorry one more time i said we lost our neighbor lost their house also. Were you what street by street where you inside the home, what im asking is it where you inside the home when the fires yeah i was in bed, rape in and they came and woke me up. I didnt know it was a fire of the hill right in front of me. Oh my goodness theres nothing to save at all just yummy far as you can go. Theres nothing the houses of all birth down. From there all the way back. Well thankfully you saved all you and all your fur babies oh, yes and not only the clothes, im wearing. Thats it in all the things in my house just doll and if you have any family or friends in the bay area beat my son whats your names i want to make sure that they know youre ok. Well, theyre okay, they know, im ok i called him on the cell phone of thank you so much to get that darya james says she has about 7 dogs on the back of her car so she got the most precious things that she possibly could get but she was inside and she was asleep as you heard. Up in flames and she said theres a bunch of other homes. Yeah, just. And i mean just like i said there it was down this road here and thats why they told us theres no reason to go down anymore it was simply too dangerous, but she went in there as well because they tell people youre on your own if you. Do go down there were not going to arrest you, but you are on your own. And he just heard that lady she would give me her name i wanted to make sure that her family and friends knew but she says she reached out to talk to her Family Friends so they are fully aware that shes okay but she was inside her home. I would presume at around midnight thats when we heard the fire raced through this area she just got her fur babies and got out and i didnt get a chance to ask are they why are you coming back here. But the bottom line is her home is gone her neighbors home is gone and dozens of other homes are gone as well and i guess i set cal fire right here theyre telling me their biggest challenge moving forward was trying to resources this is the same story every year darria theres so many wildfires that they have to prioritize who gets what is only one pie to split, yeah, you know, we know theyve lost a lot of homes. On the we just happy nobody has lost their lives in this thanks a lot. Well and james ray how many stories. Now are we telling of thousands of people are in that boat where its just them in their car with their loved ones in the chart on the back and then you have the clothes on their back is all theyve got and again the odd thing about this is this was a. A freak Lightning Storm on a sunday morning that just lit all these fires around the bay area simultaneously so we have all the resources of firefighters stretched to the max right now trying to deal with all these and this is a storm that rack of ribs the entire state on top of that and i and now john youre watching winds which is not what we want and more heat. Exactly we had the lightning just a few days ago that was what started these fires weve been dry weve been hot ever sense now youre adding in some really dry winds along with. The heat that weve already had this morning, were all looking at the smoke this is just one view of it from berkeley right here. It is settled into the bay area overnight and winds have been steady up in Solano County through the evening. This is why that fire expanded so much and surprised so many people in vacaville it was burning in some cases to the west and north of Lake Berryessa in napa county and just push southeast overnight. Now impacting so many in vacaville winds have been steady and will remain with gusts of up to 30 Miles Per Hour directly out of the north northwest and very dry winds to that low humidity. We all know those 2 paired together right there. Fire danger is so problematic when you see both of that outlet speak spanish fly it has been breezy all morning long steady winds not giving up and going to be staying with us through tomorrow morning thats how long this red flag warnings last fire originated in these areas up in napa county and just push southeast overnight along with those northwest winds and that was the culprit right there that made that fire spread so rapidly even though has been relatively calm at the coast during overnight hours. That is not going to be the case into the afternoon a pretty strong coastal flow is going to push in from the west that does pose a risk to fires and marine and sonoma counties, as well as our fire burning further southward right along the Santa Cruz San Mateo county line which is relatively calm at the moment not going to stay that way necessarily all day long. 60s 70s, 80s. Thats where were at right now not even to 10 00am yet in pittsburgh youre already approaching 90 degrees double in livermore concord fairfield in the low 80s nap at 70 degrees say alina 84, very breezy for these interior areas that are already warming up and only going to get hotter into the afternoon. Daytime highs in antioch unconquered as well as morgan hill well into the triple digits, livermore and napa each up to 98 degrees for your highs today so were still hot were still dry, youre adding winds on top of it today, well keep you updated on all those factors so stay with us with consumption. All right, thank you very much john we want to go to marin county right now where we have officials there also giving a briefing on the fire situation, lets listen in. 50 shoreline highway or highway one in point rays. In addition to that continue to follow the grant county sheriffs social media accounts as well as marin county Fire National Park Services will be posting updated information on there throughout the day. As make sure you sign up for alerts moran at the lorraine dot org or next or as the time chief mcpeek said thats the way that were going to communicate to you if there are evacuation orders like we said the only thing in effect currently is evacuation warnings. However if the fire progress there is a chance that there will be evacuation orders placed which will be done via alert. Moran next oil and also with deputies and firefighters going door to at this time that includes the ok so were just getting the update 800 acres burning in moran 94 firefighters on the scene point raise visitors being advised. That there are closures there are no aircraft working those fires right and i 40 a day and its not just people and livestock that are on the run because these fires apparently there are a lot of these out there and we know that will saw the farmer trying to save his land but a lot of them hornets and that already escaped theres have that problem too. Yeah, good morning sara. Good i dont know what is with this morning. But i got stung by a bee on my arm when it flew right into the sleeve of my fire save jacket well starting to pg e and the guy took a lead they had i so they gave me ice, i mean its a crazy situation up here, its very fluid changes. Every minute what we saw last time i saw you you saw that wind pick up those kind of scary the wind has calmed back down when you get behind the camera i mean the smoke is so heavy and thick, you can barely see any of the fire thats raging behind us thats how thick it is up above here there are some houses i walked up there. And i saw one house that survived and thats all as far as i could get. But ive heard a lot of collapsing, ive heard propane tanks exploding and this is all above guerneville pg es up here looking around making sure that all the lines are okay firefighters are here, you know fighting fire with fire theyre literally making fire lines to make it so the fire stops in its tracks here on sweet water springs road. The concern is that it would spread into guerneville and so were trying to avoid that now we just heard from the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office and and from hellfire and what theyre worried about is the spread of this when the fire picks up around 3 oclock this afternoon. So theyre going to be here making sure it doesnt spread but its going to be difficult because these firefighters can even hiking to the terrain because its so steve and difficult. So im sure theyre going to be doing some air drops so far ive seen them on boots on the ground walking along the street and making sure that they put it out along the road. Now its going to be a difficult fight they know that and its only going to get worse with the heavy winds and the hot temperatures so us definitely stay tuned because its going to be a fire thats going to be changing by the hour we actually have another reporter coming up here felipe de gaulle hes going to continue to to follow this and continue coverage for you so make sure you head to our app kronon and theyll be here making sure that you are informed. For now peonies here. Firefighters are here. Im gonna stay with them and see how we can get out of here before nelson the back to you in the studio ask you real quick sara we when we chatted earlier with will power son cal fire.
