In fact, its at least 20 separate fires divided into 3 zones fire started on sunday probably did the lightning strikes the fires came in fierce was very impactful in the calaveras zone in around seminole and stretching across Alameda Santa clara and stanislaw county. There are at least 6 fires each proving to be challenging the caliber zone here again is very steep terrain we have very high temperatures very low humidity. So firefighters are fighting fires in 100 degree heat there are 25,000 acres of charred hillside in the 3 zones combined. The no zone by zone breakdown about 10 homes off welsh creek road remain evacuated. But an evacuation warning for some 60 plus homes along kill care road was lifted in the afternoon as fire crews beat back the threat. Now much of this fire burning in rural areas, not as many homes here as in other areas as a result.
