And were in the middle of a pandemic and here you have someone who is run one of one of the biggest bureaucracies in the world that attorney generals office, the United States has been a United States senator. She has all the characteristics that you would want. Plus she has devoted her care. Risks that can mobilize the obama coalition. Africanamerican and African American voters at next voters, younger younger people that 5 or 6 bomb. That gave obama comfortable elections in both 2008 2012. She now brings to the ticket. Okay so former San Francisco mayor Michael Willie brown said that he doesnt believe biden will win without Kamala Harris. Do you agree with that statement. I dont a green early really disagree, i think this is just the right choice to make. Believing that she incarcerating people unfairly kept people in prison will that come back to haunt the biden harris ticket. Not that i dont think so because we have to think about this in terms of the global. Electoral college right were looking at states that arent california where theyre theyre 1520 electoral votes can mean something having a former prosecutor on the ticket is important but having a former prosecutor who during her tenure. The supervisors passed that unanimously this new mass ordinance which means if you dont have ask you could pay a fine up to 500 and businesses. Also could be fined 5,000 thats not for following Health Guidelines on here in Santa Clara County. Now this all happened because thousands of people complain. People not following the Health Ordinances that in addition to research that they had that shows people not following those guidelines have contributed to the amount of people catching coronavirus and the number of deaths here in the county board of supervisors met last night they were able to discuss all these things. Well we spoke to a supervisor dave cortese he tells us why he feels those fines are necessary. 70 compliance or 75 is not good enough we need we need everyone to comply or were not going to be to say put some teeth behind the ordinance perhaps you know that gives people pause to think maybe the stopping in to comply rather than not comply. Now the initial proposal calls for a 72 hour grace period before any fines or action is taken against people or businesses than our way for the county to let people know how they plan to enforce this also what people are going to have to do whenever forsman takes place and who will be in foreseen this action for now reporting on here in san jose reyna harvey kron 4 news rain is still a lot of questions regarding that decision. County officials however they have yet to decide on the exact date for the new e vick shun than they plan to tackle that at their next meeting on august 25th and that may include additional protections for tenants and fines for landlords who do violate the moratorium. Republican Assemblyman Kevin Kiley is demanding further investigation into the technical problem that in accurately reported covid19 data for at least one week. Now he sent a letter this week to speaker Anthony Rendon requesting an oversight hearing. Kiley says there needs to be a legislative investigation to determine the full extent, but the technical problem and to hear what steps have been taken to make sure that it doesnt happen again.
