But our top story tonight that massive fire. The damaged at least half a dozen San Francisco buildings and displaced at least 100 workers early this morning. We have Live Team Coverage from the scene of the fire which is still active to reaction from d out by flames. How smoke from the fire affected folks in the surrounding areas. We begin with Taylor Bisacky is live in the south of market district, where one point roughly half the citys entire firefighting resources. Were helping out with this fire taylor. Well right now firefighters are still battling the hot spots inside one of those buildings and if you take a look here behind me at the scene here behind me its still very active. And youll notice that the fire engine that was dousing the buildings earlier recently stopped and theyre focusing their efforts on the bart filled sales building and thats a Building Materials company. So its probably why its been a little bit more difficult to put out this fire with everything inside. And while this fire isnt contained yet. Its looking a much better than what we saw earlier today this is what neighbors saw earlier this morning, the flames engulfed 6 commercial buildings. One of those buildings housed 3 people through an article Coalition Housing project. Those residents are now displaced in addition to the number of workers who had jobs at these buildings, some of the other businesses include a partial sales venice auto body and the catering business a talk to those Business Owners all of them of course heartbroken after watching their businesses crumble in the fire firefighters say theyll be out here for days putting out these hot spots. Now i also want to mention that earlier today, several people brought up a mattress fire that started last night from one of the homeless encampment behind these buildings on erie street firefighters say that that fire was put out by 1130 last night so at this time they do not believe its the cause however Business Owners here that the encampments could have started the second fire and are still curious. But of course we dont know because its still undetermined but. So far in the early phase of this investigation. We are told that firefighters believe that the point of origin of this fire was the back of the bar field sales building.
