Kron fours kate rooney joins us right details and kate it sounds like hes putting his family. First yes, just in pretty good reason for this right it and its not entirely unexpected because posey has missed several of the giants workouts in the last week while he was dealing with what the team called a peruonal issue. Now we know the nature of that issue posey will skip the twentytwenty season to protect the health of the twin daughters, he and his wife adopted earlier this week. Today posey got personal in a press conference explaining that he and wife kristen have been trying to adopt for a number of years and their new twin girls were born prematurely on the first day of giants training camp. He says posey brings maturity and experience the clubhouse he expects that will continue from a distance the season, so you need older. To the older players. The younger players and these are the roads this is what you dont make this mistake over here. So youll still be that. I wrote play that role for the team behind the scenes is not be enough to play that role. Im sure that he will his team guy and certainly the last best are huge. Stephanie hibbert was a season Ticket Holder until she moved up to sacramento. She 2 respects poseys decision the wonders about the Ripple Effect could have not just on the giants. Lets take a live look outside right now as we talk about our 4 zone forecast, heres a look at downtown San Francisco looking towards the east bay, a hot weekend is ahead. So lets find out just how hot its going to get with our meteorologist Mabrisa Rodriguez was a pullman breeze so that we could crash this weekend. Yeah i know right i wish i knew someone unfortunately in the bay area dont really know a lot of people with pools. Even hotels for that matter but thats what we get we live in north cal, lets take a look at todays daytime highs though, near average along the coast upper 60s but about 5 to 10 degrees above normal away from the bay area coastline with oakland about 5 degrees above average warming up into the mid 70s today and widespread mid 90s for interior valleys and not just for the tribe valleys. But even those of you in santa rosa in the north lets take a live look outside from the east bay over berkeley tracking that increasing high cloud cover overhead with the marine layer returning mainly along the bay area coastline and east bay shoreline reducing visibility to at or below 0 sometimes during the overnight hours through your saturday morning so just keep that in mind but temperatures out there right now quite the spread in fact 50s for the coast 90s as you make your way inland. So nearly a 40 degree difference out there right now an 80s and 70s as you make your way inland as we begin to cool down for friday night but current wind speeds out there right now fortunately on the breezy side and it is going to continue to remain that way all weekend long even on sunday when we peak with this many heat wave. Thats currently underway mainly for inland valleys overnight lows tonight. Low 50s along the coast mid 50s as we make our way inland and were going to warm up into the 90s for most of our inland valleys and widespread triple digit heat expected for the 2nd half of your weekend. But tomorrows daytime highs very similar to today, 60s along the coast and widespread 70s for the east bay shoreline with 80s and 90s making our way inland. So were going to remain about 5 to 10 degrees above average and relative humidity is going to drop into the 20th percentile range by your saturday afternoon and cut that in half for most of our warmest inland valleys by sunday when we could reach that triple digit heat. But then some relief by early next week, but we wont cool down to near normal until around next thursday, justine back to you think of a breeze of the head of Delta Airlines is calling on the federal government to issue a mandate requiring travelers to wear face masks on passenger jets. Deltas policies have been among the strongest in the industry keeping all middle seats on planes empty and requiring that passengers wear face masks.
