And a chance to let off a little bit of steam since we really cant go on about and do things well many other communities have canceled their official firework shows in favor of porch parades and other virtual celebrations. You really show will go on in the name of boosting morale says mayor Roland Velasco you over the last year we have gone through a lot with the garlic festival and now covid i really think its important for people to to enjoy the 4th of july parking lots a few streets Near Gilroy High School in the nearby you discreet levee where people typically gather to watch the fireworks, well be off limits this year, but bobbie sue baker fed up with all the on official fireworks in recent weeks are headed out of town for the weekend. Its weve had illegal fireworks. Both ariel. Orders for almost a month. Starts at 6 oclock at night and goes until after midnight not the fireworks display that that city put on it see neighborhood fireworks display. Gilroys also one of the few places in the bay area where safe and sane fireworks are now on sale to locals only the proceeds are helping nonprofits that would normally be funded by the canceled gilroy garlic festival and also its hard because of the whole. You know social distancing more. You know to have others that type of sales became have liked or did or anything like that because of the whole. Some of that moving on shore right now but little normally just further north and thats going help to road some of the fog overnight tonight. So that sea breeze continues all the way to 23 Miles Per Hour in fairfield well see that breeze continuing that Summer Breeze as the temperatures get very hot inland. Trump has ignored grim assessments from his own Health Officials and instead focused on stoking cultural battles. After new york slashed the Police Budget by a billion dollars trump rebuked the citys plan to paint black lives matter on 5th avenue. That renames americas forts trumps political advisers fear, hes distracted from the Health Crisis facing the country as he continued to insist today that those reports of russians offering to pay the taliban to kill us soldiers are fake news. I agree with the intelligence people i think frankly that many of the intelligence people didnt think it was something that even happened but he didnt explain why his National Security adviser drew up plans in case they werent here at the white house when we have this raw intelligence we started an interagency process to look at options so that if the if the intelligence turned out to be verified if it could be corroborated then we have options to go to the president with to address the russian situation.
