Contra costa county will decide on monday Santa Clara County currently remains in phase. One it has not yet provided to date on when it will move into phase 2. The decision not to move forward and santa clara counties fueling some frustration for Business Owners despite making significant headway in Hospital Capacity testing and infrastructure. Were taking care of the community let me show you what were doing over here today were going to have over 3,000 families drivethru in their cars through here theyre going to work split up into 6 lanes so that we can keep socially distance to make sure that people are safe but any sign each one of those boxes is going to be enough food to take to their family for nearly a week. As it is about 30 pounds of food in there plus were giving them a 20 gift card were doing 3,000 today, theres another 1000 across the bay thats happening and then were doing an additional 1000 this next week and every every one of these boxes have already been accounted for and signed up the need is that great that is incredible its hard times for families but the Salvation Army that are stepping up in this way. For you what does this mean. What were here to love people who are here to serve them and during this crisis time its so difficult for families there are a lot of families that signed up for today that have never had to sign up for any sort of help whatsoever but they cant work and they cant feed their kids and so were so happy and grateful that donors have been able to make this possible and with the help of the the lds church you can see a lot of these folks in these vests out here these are folks from the rbs turton they gave a large donation to help make this happen as the community at large, you know why is it so important during this time to step up in give back and if people are watching and they want to make a difference to you guys how can they do so what we we can always use support in many ways if it takes a lot of money to make stuff like this happens. And then later on well be able to invite boats from outside of the region, you are traveling and visiting. Part of the delay water craft inspection stations around the lake remain closed due to covid and inspecting boats for aquatic Invasive Species that may hitch their way from other waters is something taco takes very seriously lot of Invasive Species. If theyre introduced they can knock off the ecosystem, the natural food web. They can harm public Water Infrastructure systems attaching themselves to boats and docks. Now this is the seal the boaters have to have if they want to get their boat on this lake. The way it works is this goes around the boat and the trailer and it locks and as long as this lock is still intact when they bring their boat out here. Authorities know it hasnt been on any other body of water. Its so important for making sure we protect the lake. The seals this seal inspection programs such a large part of that. Marina operators are on board with the program knowing Invasive Species damage could cost them more than the loss of income theyre facing from fewer boaters and environmental groups say its the right thing to do for the longterm health of this lake.
