this morning as i'm sure everyone was settled for a work of your house too because it is cold out there. it is cold clear and a lot calmer than it was yesterday. those are your 3 factors for the into our inland areas were all on that same page let's get a look at where temperatures are at so right now san jose morgan hill you're in the upper 30's. >>a lot of us are in the 40's but having the potential to drop into the 30's up points like in hayward and fremont north bay temperatures in the 30's for center is in petaluma but i'm going to be looking at these numbers diving a little bit further down to the course of your morning, so yes, it is cold out there with the potentially get even colder for some spots and there's your freeze warnings stretching all across the north bay from or in sonoma napa on over to solano counties these will be in effect until 09:00am today as temperatures in these areas can spend an hour or 2 below freezing and that poses a risk to not just crops but also planned so i hope you did some cover it up last night some of those more sensitive varieties of plants that you may have on your porch, 40's and 30's for your monday morning temperatures but by the afternoon we do work our way just a touch warmer than we did yesterday mostly back into the upper 50's with a few 60's in the forecast just around the corner. i'm talking easing off of the cold as far as temperatures are concerned, yes, a lot of us are in the 30's more so we're still hanging out in the 40's now temperatures still have that opportunity to dip a little bit further through the morning all the keeping an eye on him, but yes, right now temperatures for parts of the bexar little comparable to yesterday most of us are hanging out above freezing, but there are definitely some about 09:00am this morning at which point sunshine will prevail starting to write a result in a boost in temperatures and high pressures actually going to start building back in today, this is the warmer than yesterday was tomorrow gonna be couple degrees warmer than today is about to be and after that it will continue to see temperatures just rising on into the start of the weekend which is actually shaping up to be pretty nice now as far as today goes in to keep the jackets ready to go a lot like it did yesterday mid 50's for your high temperatures on the peninsula, a few of us working our way back into the upper 50's today, though that includes areas further south on the peninsula. and eventually into the south bay were in san jose you'll be up to 57 degrees for the high today. the state temperatures pretty close to where they were yesterday, it's still going to have that cool feel to it as you step outside oakland and richmond a little warmer than our inland spots egypt 57 while fairfield the on bill and delay help also eat right at 57. our 2 warmest spots those will be petaluma and santa rosa closest to 60 degrees not quite getting there tomorrow you'll see a few 60's on the map and even more them come thursday friday and saturday are 3 warmest days of the forecast and nicely timed it to the start of the weekend a better forecast for getting outside and not good in the dumb barton branch as well just 10 minutes on up from the 8.80 out to menlo park and checking in on interstate 5.80 here from road to dublin, you're looking at a fast 10 minute drive right now, the south bay also having no issue so far it's still pretty early right now one oh one from morgan, how out to san jose just 9 minutes. and other highways here 2.80 from san jose to cupertino you're looking at 10 minutes in the green right now no, a hot spots down there as well 84 from fremont to bayfront expressway are looking at just 10 minutes james. >>all right. thank you very much. developing news in texas 2 women were gunned down in a child hurt after a shooting at an a an aunt or at anm university. so the shooting happened at the commerce campus. yesterday morning, the victims bodies were found inside a residence hall along with a 2 year-old child who was hurt that child we're told is in stable condition should be ok. but the gunman has been arrested in classes of course were canceled. but for the time that will not resume until thursday. new this morning, the iowa caucuses are the first test in the 2020 presidential primary season. but there's been a delay in the
