moon bay in daly city chip 57 burlgame you'll be at 58 today amount of your warm spot in the day today at 59 degrees south bay not much cooler than that 58 for most of our south bay cities east bay, some of our coolest of spots that includes our inland valleys were daytime highs will be in the low 50's for areas like antioch a 54 vacaville 53 youngsville napa each at 53 degrees as well. santa rosa and center fell well to that list 53 degrees for your daytime highs today. tomorrow a little warmer than today and slightly warmer yet come thursday friday and saturday saturday night into sunday is your next best chance of rain after this afternoon. looks like a pretty good trip across the golden gate bridge if you're coming in from the north bay, no problems to worry about. >>the typical call from nevado to sandra fell that's why direct 42 minutes to make it to san francisco, but that's completely normal the richmond sandra fell recovering from a stall looks a lot better at one point i checked it was about 30 minutes for your drive time now we're down to 12 minut we had a stall at mid span. so that's out of the way but as you can see the baup is still there beyond marina heading into san francisco, the bay bridge traffic looks pretty quiet. no problems just backed up through the maze visy upthe incline but only 12 minutes that's really good for your drive in san francisco now from the peninsula to san francisco. it is crowded just north of the 3.80 split north one oh one north of 3.80 you're just riding the brakes from that point all the way up to 80 south one oh one slows from 80 to 3rd and south 2.80 out of daly city also crawling from highway one out of 3 80 in san bruno. in the buzz the 40 niners have a lot to do before they head to miami for the super bowl. they're going to be practicing and game-planning so they're ready for anything that mahomes and the chiefs might throw at him. >>they are notice like go through our players got experience out of the playoffs are going to get experience or the super bowl and people tell you all about it, but you go to go through it, very thankful that you got 2 weeks to it. i do think it's crazy when you get down there for the weekend andhat's what was nice for you know just growing my dad go through and then be able to go through it myself on with the falcons i'm just seen fithand how important it is really take advantage of this first week. >>another thing that counts shanahan learned. >>keep an eye on his backpack he nearly had a heart attack pre super bowl the falcons. >>his generic bag disappeared during a press conference luckily he had a back because you ha 50 super bowl tickets about to cash in ipad in there with all these game plans. it tus out a bay area reporter picked up by mistake because it looks like every other back kyle, i have a suggestion to avoid a mix-up what do you think of this i found this bag online 60 bucks you can customize it stamped with a little kyle on there for you, and it has wheels role as you can carry your heavy stuff. luncheon there and nobody's going on that backpack you can also import uniforms in there too and now we know what the 49 ers are going to be wearing they're white jerseys and their gold pants now they wanted to wear. the old throwback uniforms all white, but the no fun league said no and then the chiefs they wanted or they're lucky uniforms from the last super bowl at they won. but the nfl could risk another wardrobe malfunction. what it was like 50 years ago super bowl for not like the nfl caveman days did they play in loincloths the legendary joe montana has an inside tip if you're betting on the game. i've got a tip for you joe who was th stash that was 1979 is draft picture. i got his pick now for the super bowl montana tweeted you heard from the first i guantee my team will win the super get it he play for both teams. we know who your faithful to and i get bei a faithful fan, especially if your kid is on the team, but in this case, a dad in north carolina went way too far. he was watching his son at a high school wrestling match. when the other kid illegally slammed his kid. right on the head. so the dad comes running out to the bat how takes out th other kid. the dad is charged with assault. now kelly, the son is okay, but how scary is that you see your kid slammed on the head. i get you know impulsively running out there i go all mama bear on that kid, but you can actually take him out what if it was an animal though attackg your kid a coyote went for a 2 year-old boy in new hampshire and his dad ended up killing the coyote with his bare hands. there on a hiking trail when that coyote grabbed his son's co and dragged him to the ground. >>startled that he sat down and it and it says a lot to decide is it could was snapping and attackina lunging had its snows here percent of the snow and then st took my hand and got on us one type is best they could and there for the money and it's a ribs to try and. >>isn't that crazy you can see his injuries because he did get bitten a couple of times those of the wounds. the dad said quote never and arrest rate the power of survival that coyote was very interested in living but so were we and then a dad sthern california tangled with a mountain lion to save hison. the family was hiking in the wilderness park in orange county. when the big t grabbed 3 year-old by the neck. but the dad threw backpack, adam and the mountain lion let go. >>and he kept the backpack you see him up there in the tree with a backpack, so you see kyle not only will nobody stealing your backpack, but it could save your life. >>that's the tom steyer: no child should have to worry about finding good food in school. so, when my wife kat and i learned california public school children couldn't get fresh produce in the cafeteria, we took action. we partnered with local farmers, school kitchens, a non-profit. that program now serves over 300 million healthy meals every year. the difference between words and actions matters. that's a lesson washington dc could use, right now. i'm tom steyer and i approve this message. >>come back 7.54 most shower activity as of this point is pretty light across the bay zooming in on marine county, this is where we're seeing the most activy as of this point and even then just some light showers right arnd mcginty does on highway one near the coast couple of sprinkles along highway one o one from sandra fell on up to petaluma besides this so we've actually dry down pretty significantly. the past few minutes, highway 80 as you tread up to sacramento, you're doing so with some light showers couple light showers on to the delta as well further south in the bay to some pockets of nothing more than really misty coitions out this point hanging out right around the dome barton bridge outtowards fremont union city and hayward robin i think you john checking on one of our most popular bridge is stirring the morning drive. >that is the bay bridge and there's lots of slow traffic waiting for you, here's a look at 80 west you are still backed up all the way through the maze all of your connectors are solid 5 atp on 24 the 8.80 north connector, the east shore freeway packed be on highway 4. so if you have to use you're looking at about an hour just to get from put all to downtown san francisco. and 13 minutes from the bottom of the mace to fremont street will check more bridges r you coming up james all right robin thank you 7.56 a quick break here coming up in the next hour fall through the afternoon ahead of us and it really is an afternoon shower ahead because lighter showers have been seeing this morning but they really haven't ounted to much just yet you've seen some low cloud cover across the bay and still a crystal clear view looking out from berkeley towards san francisco, even the golden gate bridge just a little sprinkle here they're up in marine county sonoma county that a couple of spots out to the east bay looking at 80 we have seen some very wet conditions along 80 but rainfall is now cleared out so definitely comg down out there couple of light showers right between hayward and fremont and then you're also looking at just a few light showers on up north into marion county to announce later today that we really start to check in with the heavier stuff. >>from 01:00pm to 05:00pm today we're going to see the bulk of our rainfall mostly on the light side, but a few moderate spots and they're 2 pretty widespread into e afternoon as well coastal
