Happened. Last night for the ring, the Police Department where this was such a massive scene that they actually had to call in. Police officers from surrounding agencies so lets show you the video of what happened last night we do know this was an air bnb party that started at around 10 oclock last night. I have been able to confirm that about uh huh 100 people at least were at the party. The shots rang out sometime after 10 oclock last night, 4 people were killed, we dont know their names at this particular point or their genders we are also hearing that at least 4 others are still in the hospital this morning with their injuries. Lets show you the home. It is on lucille way we were able to pull it using google were able to use that picture and this is said pierce to be where the was liz located where the party took place. It was an air bnb i spoke to neighbors and they said they caught wind of the party a couple of days ago about the potential size and they were not happy about that, but they didnt shut it down or even talk to the homeowners say the homeowner is responsible person that they never really had any problems with this particular person and there they were just mildly annoyed about the of the party and especially being on a week day, but they didnt Call Police Officers about it at all until shots rang out in fact a little bit earlier this morning. I was able to track down one of the neighbors in this particular neighborhood first on kron. We were able to interview him, heres his reaction to what he heard. We didnt see anything but we heard a bunch of gunshots actually whole neighborhood heard it and then people were screaming and fleeing down the hill. What what did you do were you aware of this party we were hearing it was on social media yeah, well we didnt see on social media, but a couple of our neighbors started raised complaints about the noise that was going on up there huh and that apparently there been somebody already on the way but were not sure about that you said nobody was happy about this party. The the neighbors were but i its yeah i guess not something that we would have expected to come out of it it was just more of a noise complaint that were in. So in his words jeans and area, this does not happen. Still very much an active scene you might be able to hear helicopters above me, let me quickly step out of the way once again to show you because they have not made any arrests in this case they dont have a solid description of the shooter or shooters but we do know and the fear was that it was a Halloween Party that the shooter might not. The invisible to the public because that person could have easily wore a mask and blended in with a Halloween Party, but we were able to listen to audio dispatch between officers and it appears that the shooter was not. Generic description that the person was wearing jeans and in orange county, but you can call literally see at this particular time they are walking on the side of the road each side looking through the brush with a metal detector looking for a weapon he tried to get i suppose well it would have been the easy to get away. You just said there were no arrest because with the commotion can you imagine the street, a 100 people on the run. Some are dressed in halloween stuff, some are not i guess thats why they cant find these people. Now they cannot find particular shooter at this time and they havent even released a description of a person of interest never mind sometimes they flat out come out and say this is who we are looking for and other times they say its a person of interest somebody we would like to talk to, but you hit it right on the head dairy as far as with all the chaos they still have not been able to even tell us how person of interest who they would like to talk to never mind making the arrests just somebody that we can talk to person might be able to lead us to whoever is the shooter in you can clearly see now more and more investigators arriving to the scene there you can see where its a very active scene theyre coming in here you know theyre pretty much locking down this neighborhood which is just off a 24. An area james and area the eu would not the here by the accident is that much off the roadway into very mays like neighborhood obviously of more than a 100 people found their way to the Party Last Night that like to hear more about you know who some of the victims were who were killed 4 people and then all those people we saw video of them wounded in everything. Yes, it appears to be on social media and in fact i talked to a few friend of some of the people at the party and she confirmed, yes, it was on social media and shes pretty much shaken this morning and i point blank asked or how come you didnt go to the party and she said i was thinking about it. But there was another party in another neighborhood, so she sad by what happened. But obviously just delighted as i can use that word god is delighted that she wasnt here last night because another party. Dozens more Police Officers from are in debt contra county sheriffs officers that have been coming in and also theres been another team that quite recently have been very very active. The gotten here probably within about the last hour im going to zoom in to them right now this gentleman in orange, hes a part of Contra Costa County search and rescue. Theres a team of just under dozen. Men and women who are out here with what looked like and sound like metal detectors theyre out here theyve been searching the surrounding area for about 15 minutes so far and actually just moments ago use see what hes doing right there. Just moments ago he and his entire team or actually focusing in on this. Our this black ford now this one right here actually may possibly be a car that party goers or neighbors at parks on the street but actually as i zoom in there. What you check out that dan and i was over hearing them talk about it being a possible. The bullet hole or bullet invention now again we do not have that confirmed thats just what the men and women of the search and rescue team were talking about right here as you can tell from the caution mind very very close to where im standing right now, but the search and rescue teams have been out here so far this morning, working and we dont know exactly what theyre looking for but we know theyre working alongside a sheriff in please i want you to Pay Attention also to this driveway. This driveway right here is this steep incline and this is where investigators were working all morning with flashlights and you can see some of them up there on the top as well working to move cars working around. These men and are actually the face of the house where the harding won. Is actually right here to my right. Very much blocked by trees and everything but as you can tell definitely more of a remote location with how difficult it would be to get to the home just due to the. Driveway itself. When you come off the eastern span just before you get to the toll plaza where the palm trees are thats where this activity is so what at one point we had all lanes close that is no longer the case you can see traffic squeezing by in those 3 right lanes for this is causing major delays for people trying to get out of San Francisco, normally were just tracking heavy westbound traffic right. There was nothing blocked or close on the westbound side coming in this is all eastbound heading out on the oakland side right before you get to the tolls once again your 3 left lanes close there is no estimated time of clearing and the back of just continues to get heavier and heavier. We do know that it was posted on social media that was the rumor a little bit earlier this morning, but one person did confirm that with me that she saw this on social media but decided to go to another party. So shes relieved that she wasnt at the party were shots rang out we do know that at least 4 people were rushed to the hospital injured and still injured this morning and for people unfortunately died from the shooting. Now i got a chance to pull up. The home location, the picture of the home. Let me show it to you right now this is the home located at the top of the hill. Its an air bnb so the people according to a Law Enforcement officer i spoke to it will be the person who rented the air bnb there will be responsible for all all the charges as far as whats going to happen. Moving forward they obviously have this person on record and that person will be talked to by investigators. Earlier this morning. I was the first one to talk to this man he was near where the shots rang out. No suspects at this point no person of interest. But obviously they are still searching for whoever shot these people back to you. I arrived here approximately 3. 45 and they have been on scene the entire time weve got cars here that are cars of people who live in the area who were at the party, but also Law Enforcement just in my view alone weve got about a dozen different type of police car sheriffs officers, cars as well as different search and rescue vans now i want to give you this perspective because you know as we just heard right there. In in that the dispatch call of course you heard about the chaos. This is a quiet neighborhood a lot of it is covered, you know with different types of trees and shrubbery and its just very calm. So that its stark contrast from what happened last night. So you can imagine his neighbors are waking up this morning. They are very much talked of what happened and definitely theres an element of fear out here with neighbors. Now this right here is that a police car from a ring to Police Department and is at the base of the driveway that ive mentioned weve got some investigators there that are working at the foot and then as we go all the way up were going to get to than the base of that. Up this driveway where we have more investigators. A lot of these investigators have been chatting with residents here in the area. Were actually trying to take their kids to school that has been a almost i want to see issue for a lot of the residents who live here. So so far we know Police Officers are being very strict on who can come in and out of this area every person who leaves this out block where the crime scene blocked off they have to be a recorded in and out because basically no one is able to leave and case and lasted 3 soclean emergency or in this case having to take their children to school so in just a second here i do want to zoom out one more time we have some more investigators. Were coming up area here. Theyre coming up driveway and again this is the house the area of the air bnb were gunmen. The s the suspect vehicle got away and there was another vehicle that was on scene no injuries reported. Ah but there is damage to the vehicle that was shot yeah so they have to investigate you know collect the shell casings and when theres a shooting like that they pretty much close everything down so that they can collect all of the evidence and when you close down the bay bridge. What a mess you have trying to get out of San Francisco right now were looking at traffic tracker and the backup which spills through the eastern span the tunnel, the lower deck the skyway onto one oh one which is now solid from 2. 80 so once again all lanes are open. But now you have to deal with all of that residual slowing trying to make your way out of San Francisco cell you may want to help hon bart this morning to try and get over to the oakland side of the bay. You may even want to consider the san mateo bridge. But if i can pull up a caltrans camera there it is so were looking at the caltrans camera thats right over the skyway in San Francisco. If you look over to the right. Traffic heading toward downtown and on 80 ease trying to get to the lower deck of the bay bridge. Those people are stuck. Aca which once again spills over 2 northbound one oh one from 2. 80 and we see it here on traffic tracker so major residual delays, but hey at least we got the lanes open. Now the westbound folks coming into San Francisco. They could see that action but there was nothing blocked the westbound coming in to what youre looking at here is pretty much normal for friday morning slowing traffic from west grand through the tolls up the incline at 11 minutes into San Francisco.
