Experts say cacao plants are struggling to survive in the warmer temperatures. Scientists say even the slightest increase in temperatures over the next 30 years could cause problems for the chocolate industry all around the world. The higher temperatures are sucking moisture out of the soil and the plants. The cacao plants have to be grown in a very specific climate that is found near the equator. The typical americans and europeans eat around 286 bars of chocolate per year. That amount of chocolate. Just for one person requires 10 cacao plants. rebecca im tracking your 7day forecast.
