Two people are accused of stealing from elders at a Senior Living home in the east bay. pam it happened at aegis living in moraga, on country club drive. Just off of canyon road. Police say, two people stole the victims checks, credit cards and debit cards. One arrest has been made and now police are looking for a woman. Good evening. Im pam moore. steve and im steve aveson. And suspects have been targeting this assisted living center, and another on in orinda, too. Multiple retirees who live in aegis living of moraga have become victims of a scheme where Police Believe two people have been sneaking into rooms and stealing checks and credit and debit cards. Went into rooms when our victims were away. The suspects arent aegis employees, and police arent quite sure how they get in, but they know its not through forced entry. The same thing has been happening at a Senior Living place in orinda, too. The fact that these people went into this area and preyed upon these elderly folks, its absolutely its heinous.
