The carjacker he took off right here along santa clara street. He headed east about and about 20 cops were following behind him. George rodriguezhad new clue why police were chasing the driver. Investigators say the suspect tried ramming an officer near emanuel sullivan. I heard the sirens blairing outside, i thought they were passing by. The suspect avoided gunfire and continued driving until crashing into an occupied car along the express way. National news in tennessee this morning, a search is under way for a gunman who shot and killed the Police Officer. Thatofficer is identified as 33 yearold shawn bolton. He was on a traffic stop when he was shot several times. He wasrushed to the hospital but later died. The suspect got away,police are using all of their resources to track down the shooter.
