For the rest of the bayarea, here is how your highs look. Temperatures a lot more widespread, inland spots including antioch and fairfield. Mid80s in sunnyvale and san jose. If you are going to San Francisco today, temperatures are going to feel comfortable. We are talking of a high of 73. More searchteams are being called into look for an 8Year Old Girl whos missing in san jose. Kron 4news will tran is live at the apartment complex, a lot of people are arrived, will . Reporter we know the search and rescue team as well as the Santa Clara County search and rescue team, theyre headed to the scene now, they were here this morning. More personnel ison their way. They had to moveto a lot a lot right next door to make room of all of the search and rescue teams. Theynever stop searching since 5 30 last night. This is theapartment complex where Madison Middleton was last seen. Let meshow you the area quickly before i show you her picture. Thatsurveillance camera picked up her picture and her moving images around 5 05 last night. Everything seems fine. She wassupposed to meet her friends about 20 feet from that location over here, the camera did not pick up this location here. At5 30, thats when her mom knew something was wrong and thats when she talled authorities and she call ed called authorities. She was on her scooter at the time and wearing her helmet and black leggings. Even thoughthey used canines, they have not been able to find the scooter and her helmet. I can tell youthey picked up her scentfrom this location trailing all the way to the beach which is about two mile frs this location. Sofar, no luck, theyre not calling this an unusual circumstances of something stands out to them. Theyresearching for her but nothing jumps out at this point as well as foul play. This is where shewas, look at the left of your screen, thats the wooded area. In that wooded area, tlas river, they searched there all night as well and no luck in that location. Everybody is soworried daria, this is a tight knit community, the mom does not want to go on camera. Shestoo distraught to go on camera. It is making itdifficult to fight. It hasdamaged three buildings and a home. The cause of the fire is investigation. Firefightersthink it may have been started by a car crash. Questions this morning of the alert system were used to help people get out of their homes from the fire, some people had to come up with their own plans to send out a warning. The rag fire had been fierced. Scorching 700, 000acres and forcing 200 evacuations. Kathie lives in the golden bear neighborhood, one of the community that was under a mandatory evacuation. She andmost of her neighbors have concerns over the way people were notified over the reverse 911 system they have to learn that the the hard way during last years fire. We had it set up on our cell phone. Kathie and her neighbors took matter in our own hands. We had to test it the night of the fire. Their system was a success calling 150 phone numbers that were proprogrammed in the database. We have certain member that is can call in that say there is an evacuation notice and blah blah and the call goes out it is like a 30 second call and it goes out all the number that we preprogrammed into the system. Not everything has a program like this in effect. Ethan says his parents were not properly notified. They were there until past midnights. The white toyota parked near south park boulevard was stolen while the driver was participated in the marathon. After the collision, the chief say says thea motorcycle officer responded to the scene and approached the suspect. Policesay he tried carjacking a vehicle at san bruno avenue that was stopped at the light. Back across the freeway and on the front road and attempted to jack other cars. Authorities say the man refused. Police say two shots were fired. Onehitting the suspect in the stomach. He was transported tosfgeneral hospital in serious but stable condition. Now,police say it does not appear he had a weapon. Because thisshooting happens in sanmateo county, the daoffice will follows office will follow up with the investigation. Now to the latest happening with that search and rescue effort, crews from three counties are looking at the el dorado area looking for a missing teacher. Ed is dibabetic he needs his insulin. Hes thelast person you expect to go missing. Hes a very disciplined and responsible person and you know i know that he would not drop off without a good reason. They say hes a survivor and he teaches students about the wilderness at San Francisco high school. Hes capable of takingcare of himself if hes healthy. Search and rescue teams are on foot right now and theyre using whatever they can get their hands onto aid the search, they have about 100 volunteers right now. The Camelot School in Castro Valley, kron 4 news jack siie is live this afternoon. Reporter good morning, state of the unions are now just arriving for their last week of school. Now, the Camelot Schoolhas been at this site for over 35 years and have some 130 students. On friday, thestudents and teachers were given notice that the school will be closing as of this friday. Theleaseholder of this school they have made it known that they are anxious and ready to sell this site. Because of that, the ownover the site can not renew the lease at this point. Theproblem is where can they go . She says she has tried multiple sites and had no luck at this point. What she decided is bestto close it now and give tp students and parents enough time to find new alternatives before the school year actually starts. For parents it is a scramble leaving them only seven days to find new alternative options for preschools and some of them i talked to this morning were very disappointed. Incredibly disappointing. Mydaughter has been going there since she was oneyearold and she has a year left before kindergarten and only a week to react and both parents working. We dont know what we are going to do. We are scrambling. Reporter what are you going to do . Hopefully, well find a new school for her and well do the best we can. Other than that,well try to get creative. Reporter thats the reactions from most of the parents i talked to this morning. As they drop off theirchildren, they dont know what theyre doing to do only given seven days to find other options. Teachers and parentsare going to get together at a local park to discuss other options. I did make a phonecall to the school, nobody is going to be in until after 8 30. San jose police are investigating a fatal drive by shooting. It happened lastsaturday night, the victim was talk ugh with others in the drive way of this house when two people drove up. A light colorsedan, one person got out of the car and shot the victim and got back in as the second person drove away. Police were notable to find the people involved and they are not releasing the name of the victim. A woman was walking along the Shoreline Parkway trail when a man came up and demanded money. She pulled out herwallet. It is the third attacklike this against women on this trail this year. They all hadchildren with strollers. Thefirst attack happened in january. The woman who wasattacked, she was knocked down and drag to the bushes and assaulted as well and the man threatened to hurt her child. Right now police do not know if those cases connected. A 16yearold girl was raped who was his client. William cal mccallan, hes self employed and he remains in the Santa Clara County jail right now held on 4. 4 million bail. Happening today, the city of palo alto will be hosting Committee Meeting to talk about thethe aim is to prevent teen suicides. It all happened alonga four mile stretch there in palo alto.
