Santa rosa is 61 degrees. We have a check of future cast today. Temperatures will warmup but we wont have really hot temperatures. By lunchtime 60s and 70s. Most highs will reach into the 70s. Happening right now the construction that has doil drive closed is moving smoothly. Officials say they are on track with their timeline. Police received the call at 3 00 this morning. That happened near the Stevens Drive offramp. Investigators are looking into what caused the crash. Also happening right now in Fremont Police are looking for a man in a home burglary. Police released these surveillance photo of the suspect inside the home. They are trying to figure out who this man is. They are trying to identify the man in the photo. People in a camp got the boot saturday morning. Police say they were squatting on state property and marshals came in and cleaned it out. Now well see whats next for those people. They move you hear and you have to go somewhere else. The suspicious wanted for the shooting of a prostitute in a hotel are in custody. We spoke with an investigator that told us what lead to their arrest. Reporter 22yearold ronnie threadgil was booked into the county jail charged with attempted homicide and assault with a firearm. His 19yearold accomplice also taken to the same jail on half Million Dollars bail charged as accessory to attempted homicide. Hopefully it doesnt turn into a homicide investigation. Reporter Aaron Johnson with the department of Public Safety said threadgil started fire on the woman. Surveillance photos from the restaurant shows the car pulling up to drop threadgil off. A later photo shows threadgil running away after the shooting. We are unsure of the motive. Reporter it appears the wounded woman was inside the motel room at the time engaged with another man engaged of prostitution. The woman was shot and the man pistol whipped. The Police Stopped the car and later let the two men go. They found evidence linking the two to the crime and arrested both without incident. They found clothing and glasses where the victim was found. Through their investigation they were able to find pictures on the internet of the suspect wearing glasses similar to those they found. Reporter at this time the wounded woman is still there intensive care and yet to speak with investigators. In National News this morning. Jeff pierce joins those who have a national day of protest against the trains carrying that oil. Hundreds of people concerned about trains carrying crude oil marched in richmond saturday afternoon. The growing number of those protesters were part of the National Stop Oil Trains Week of action. The event was held on this week when two years ago 47 people were killed in an Oil Train Explosion in canada. This is an Solidarity Movement, and this is how big the movement has grown in such case short amount of time. Those speaking out sought to all five barrier refineries are in the blast zone if there is a derailment, and that is too dangerous for everyone involved. Legal action to appeal the permits for oil trains to continue to ship crewed will take as long as two years to be resolved in court. Global oil prices have temporarily halted the shipments. If it made it economically less feasible for them to transport this back and crewed into places like the bay area. Organizers hope to grow the movement before those conditions change. New overnight, a teenager recovering in hospital this morning after being shot at by a Police Officer in st. Louis, missouri. The scene happened last night. Police say it started off as a 911 call about a robbery and then turned violent with the teenager opening fire several times.
