Jane what do the patients symptoms look li . Patients are presenting witha what w acute lung injury. There is an acute inflammation within the lungs. Many timesthat is accompanied by an excess amount of fluid or water in the lgs. Almost all of these patients are presenting with respiratory pulmonary symptoms. Many require not just oxygen, but breathing tube or a ventilator. There have been reports of many of these patients requiring a medically induced coma so that s the physicians taking care of them can better manage their illness and the acute lung injury. I think we need to go a few steps beyond not only banned the beyond that and not only banded the flavored products, butme the americacal association, lung association, and other societies have come out and said ecigarettes in general at this point are not safe because at thioint we donknow what the common link is among all the reported veses.
