Feel like the fair is a place where kids go to have fun away from their parents. The chaperone policy takes away from that. Its a good way of protecting everyone in the park, sort of. And an update to the breaking news we brought you at the top of the show, eastbound traffic is moving again on interstate 80 after a grass fire on Yerba Buena Island. Three lanes have reopened and the fire has been put out. The San FranciscoFire Department says it was an in a hard to reach area. It brought in a fire boat but took a while to put it out due to the strong winds. As we have every day this week for quite a while, had those gusty winds. This time of year, open water, no friction, it gets erratic out there. We have video of them with the fire, but with the hose e, and the hose was getting pushed all over the place. And then that wind took that smoke and blew some of it into the east bay. I was looking at the air quality sensors. Montclair, air quality down to moderate. Down into walnut creek measurable declines. Nothing terrible, but some of the smoke out that far, thats how far the wind was taking it. Strong sea breeze. This is what we looked like today on the High Resolution satellite. That was pattern on here. Look at the north bay. Theres a lot more gray showing up thats getting funneled into the north bay today. You see this coastal eddie out here. Everythings getting pulled up from the south and pulled right into that Interior Valley through the petaluma gap. You didnt get out of the 60s today because of that. Notably cooler there today. As a result tomorrow thats where the biggest difference is going to be felt on daytime highs. Look where you were so far for daytime highs. It was only mid to upper 60s in the north bay and it was near 80 in san jose today. Were going change that tomorrow, because as we leave behind the live satellite, put spite the futurecast, watch what happens, way less marine layer tomorrow. Now, this has an impact as well for bay to breaker, usually run under may gray skies. I think its likely tomorrow youre going get a lot more clearing than you will or have had in previous years. Certainly more than the last several days. Tomorrow the marine layer gives us a break. If we look at the forecast, we have to put a cloud or two in there. But its not terribly windy through the morning hour, and its going to be a bit clearer. So you know, this could be somewhat more costumefriendly weather for bay to breakers tomorrow. Tell all your friends. Its not too late. All right, lets look at daytime highs on here. Theres sunday. So notice the warmup in the low to mid60s today, near 80 tomorrow. Big difference as this transition take place. We start the warmup here, but its going to peak on tuesday. So lets watch the transition. Keep your eye on the day, but youre also going to see the color codes change on here. Thats where well be. You didnt change a lot for the interior of the bay, but you did out here. Daytime highs will be in the mid80s for inland east bay valley business the time we get to tuesday. Youll see me the sevenday forecast were going to cool back down again after that. We were talking about how the wind was taking some of that smoke and blowing it all the way over here. You kind of see hazy sky, not much of it, but the marine layer showing clear through onshore flow, clouds coming in from the bay, getting pushed over the east bay hills, down 24, and not really making it all that far inland right now. Thats what we look like on High Resolution satellite. Gorgeous view. Look at all this over here. Thunderstorms today in the sierra at the same time. So it has been an active day over there, but all that stuffs going the other way, not coming here. Lets get into the sevenday forecast, and ill show you what to expect. Remember, a subtle warming trend for some of us, a drastic warming trend in the north bay valleys tomorrow. San francisco and oakland, you dont really change a whole lot this time of year. Theres not much difference on there. When we look at north bay valleys, youre in the mid to upper 60s tomorrow, tomorrow near 80. Tuesday everybody tops out low 80s, and then were going to cool right back down again by the end of next week as the numbers go back dmoun the mid to low 70s by the time we get to friday and saturday. Inland, east bay, mid80s on tuesday and then youre back down to 70 by the weekend. Back to you. Okay, thank you, darren.
