Quite the change from yesterday. We got rid of the clouds for the most part. More sunshine than anything else is a nice way to put it. Boy did we start warming up. If we look at the daytime highs, a lot of the numbers are mid 70s and most are five to seven degrees above where you were yesterday except the north bay where we noticed a big change today. These were places that didnt get out of the mid 60s all day yesterday. We are going 80 today for daytime highs in the north bay. Just to do the comparison, i think it drives the point home on how the start of the week really does feel different from over the weekend. This is the warmest day in the sevenday forecast. By wednesday, thursday, friday, its going to be noticeably cooler. I think tomorrow is close. Tomorrow will be very similar to this. Another one tries friday and that one doesnt have what it takes to get here with rain. Both of these are going to keep the cooler temperatures going. The only thing i would point out about that system that comes in for friday and saturday is the potential to produce a little bit snow in the sierra. It is early but well keep an eye on that. The only reason we would point that out is for minor traffic impacts there can be. For the most part it doesnt look like a significant winter storm. Its early systems that drop snow that can catch people off guard. The sevenday forecast, two warmest days right here, monday and tuesday. We will cool down by next week and increase clouds. Well be back into the mid 60s for daytime highs by the time we get here. There is a 10 chance of rain by friday and saturday. It doesnt look impressive enough yet to start putting it in the tubes for the seven day. However, we are going to keep an eye on it and let you know if that changes. Thanks.
