This is already the highest density population anywhere in the world. People are saying, israel is revenge. No, no, no, no, its not revenge. Israel ordering an evacuatio of part of gaza in its attack against hamas. As palestinians fear its not enough time. We are currently getting ou resources together. Security is on high alert here in the u. S. After hamas calls for worldwide protests today. Were back to square one. The fight for the gavel just blew wide open again. Republica congressman Steve Scalise drops out of the race to become speaker of the house. During the entire month of october, we are packed. A big business boost in halfmoon bay. The art and pumpkin festival makes its return. People have described it as a golden ring in the sky. Still have your eclipse glasses hanging around . Get ready, a solar spectacle is happening this weekend. Good morning to all of you. Not only is it friday, but it i friday the 13th. And so we are little superstitious here on th set. Im Nicole Zaloumis and i grew up that way though. My mom anytime wed be driving in a black cat would dart across, we would turn around. Even if it was like a three mile detour. W would turn around. Really . She was that serious wow. Yes. I you know, my grandma wa a little bit like that. My mom not so much but three mile detour. I mean it was not an option to go through that path but now as a mom im like we got to get places people. Yes we do. Im Gianna Franco and good morning. We do have to get places and maybe you are getting out and about this weekend because its friday. Hopefully fun plans and a lot going on jessica. You know, it is friday but its friday the 13th so just stay inside. Dont step on any cracks and dont break anyones backs just chill and relax. Heading into this weekend that kind of just rhymed i feel like dr. Seuss this morning. Waking thumb morning, throughout the Santa Clara Valley, were wakin up to some clear skies and 50s in the forecast. Very similar t yesterday. But whats different from today and yesterdays forecast is the fact that we actually have some rain right around the corner and wont necessarily impact the south bay. Forget about that. Just se some cloudy skies. But heading more north into areas like novato and petaluma into santa rosa right behind me currently sitting mostly in the upper 40s nice and cool. Actually see som showers in the forecast for us around the corner. Actually you can just see what im talking about because its not that intimidating of a system by any means. Remember earlier this week, monday tuesday when we sa the quick frontal systems kind of sweep their way through . Lot of clouds for the bay area also some light showers. Thats what were going to have late tonigh early tomorrow morning. But it starts to break apart by the time it even makes landfall too so if anything, areas like sant rosa will see it more along the coast near bodega bay. A very similar trend. But the more south we go into San Francisco, even just across the golden gat bridge, were really just getting the clouds that are going to linger around into our forecast tomorrow morning. Ill bring up the reason why im kin of bummed about that in just a second. For our total rain amount were going to see withi the next day or so, just about 0. 01 from bodega bay up into santa rosa. Keep that in mind. Weve been talking so much abou the Solar Eclipse and how exciting its going to be. Abou 83 . You will see that ring of fire but sadly we wont see it because were going to be dealing with clouds widespread throughout the bay area as the system really settling in. So cloudy skies tomorrow in time for the festival happening at halfmoon bay. The 60s into the sunday forecast too and more sunshine on sunday though. More on that and why thats happenin for now over to you, g. All right, jessica, thank you. Lets talk about the freeways right now. Were going to start off with the live look at in nimitz 880 here you can see some flashing lights there off to the side. Causing just some slight delays as you approach that area. Other than that, its pretty quiet along 880. It is friday. Less cars on the roadway anyway. But definitely give yourself a few extra minutes as you travel through there just to play it safe. San mateo bridge looking good no delays right now westbound heading over towards 101. Keep in mind though its going to be busy on 92 once you are headed to halfmoon bay thi weekend for the pumpkin festiva and highway 1 will be quite bus as well. Traffic is congested definitely leave early for that one. And you will get stuck in little bit of traffic for sure. Now to the conflict in israel and gaza. The u. S. Defense secretary austin is meeting to do with israels minister of defense and also plans to meet with Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu and with members of the israeli war cabinet. And secretary of state Antony Blinken just left jordan on his way to qatar. Short time ago. Blinken met with palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and jordans king abdulla reportly talking about efforts to secure the release of hostages and thegrowing humanitarian dry sis in gaza. Israel is warning the United Nations to evacuate more than 1 Million People from northern gaza to the south. That is half of the regions population. Israeli tanks are in position along the gaza border and a ground incursion may be imminent. More than 1500 palestinians have already been killed and hundreds of thousand displaced by air strikes. U. N. Officials say a largescale evacuation is likely an impossible task. We asked a professor of middle Eastern Studies at uc berkeley and he drew this analogy to the bay area. Behind me are the pictures o San Francisco. San francisco is approximately 600, plus, 700,000, double that number of population. Talk about the bridges are not there because they have been made inoperable. All the streets, market street, all the major streets, all majo apartment buildings have been destroyed and theres no water. And it is already the highest density population anywhere in the world. And then you ask people to leave and they have 2 hours to make their way out. I cannot foresee the possibility of actually movement of such people which means that israel is really looking and staring a a massive casualty civilian casualty. The a. P. Reports that hamas is calling on palestinians in northern gaza to stay put in their homes. Since the attacks by hamas last weekend, theres complete blockade on gaza. Right now, charter flights arranged by the u. S. Government are taking americans out of israel. The state Department Says at least 20,000 u. S. Citizens have reached out since the hamas attacks. The flights from israel are going to athens greece and germany. Theres als an option by sea with ships carrying evacuees to the countr of cypress. And well here in th u. S. , jewish communities are feeling anxious. Law enforcemen agencies across the country are stepping up patrols at jewish owns businesses and houses of worship and diplomatic buildings. This comes as a former hamas chief is calling for protests and for people across the world to deliver a message of anger today. Californias Homeland Security advisor says they are aware of statements about potential threats but as of now, there ar no credible or specific threats to our state. Jewish communitie in the bay area are looking inward at their own faith amid shocking violence and incredibl grief. More than 1200 people have been killed in israel sinc this conflict began. The victim include children and babies. An as Andrea Nakano reports, in oakland a synagogue is trying t provide a counterweight to the violence. Reporter rav dovid labkowsk leads the Chabad Oakland congregation and members have been coming by to light the shabbat candle, as they prepare for a period of rest, dedicated to god. Coming together has bee one way to cope with the war. Weve been through a hard week. Ever since we heard the news last saturday morning. As soon as it happened, we had people coming here with people crying and it was during the holiday, it was very difficult. Reporter while the grief ha been overwhelming, rav labkowsk is urging his congregation to follow the teachings of the jewish religion. If evil can do so much, can make such a huge effect on people, then good can do even more. Reporter Rav Labkowski explain its more important now than ever to bring positivity into the world. Jewish response is always to double down in acts of goodness and kindness and doing jewish good deeds. You know, laying th lighting the shabbat candles and by doing mitzvah and by bringing more light into this world, thats what we can do to spiritually fight that that darkness. Reporter Chabad Oakland is expecting a larger than usual turnout despite hamas declaring a day of jihad on friday. We reached out to several local la enforcement agencies and they say they havent received a specific threat in the bay area were proud of who we are. And i think when Something Like this happens, more people come out and people who dont go to synagogue regularly and they are looking for a sense of community and they want to be with other jews and they want t show that this wont deter us. That were going to fight back. Reporter while rav labkowsk appreciates the show of solidarity by many in the community to denounce the attacks by hamas, he encourages everyone to support israel by spreading kindness, that no one should have to suffer the way they did in southern israel. The message to people is tha think for a second this woul be your child being butchered. Think for a moment that, you know, you are just walking out of your house or trying to slee in your bed. And just were all human beings. And were all born with, you know, a piece of god in us. It has notified the citys Police Department about todays events and will have security o hand. Nicole . The u. S. Has faced threats before, like the ones now being made. So what is law enforcemen doing about it . We asked a retired fbi special agent in charge who told us this is mostly business as usual for th fbi. When i was a terrorism supervisor, we part of our specific responsibility was hamas. And anytime that there was an elevated threat for attacks that hamas would have coordinated, we certainly paid very close attention to all of our investigations that had anything to do with that sort o profile. It doesnt mean that theyre not looking at those generally speaking, everyday anyway, but certainly it gets a more critical eye during this heightened period of awareness. The difference jeff harp sai is communication between the feds and local Law Enforcement. So that if there is a credible threat. Everyone is ready to respond. If you think about state and local Law Enforcement agencies, they dont really per se investigate terrorism or hamas related activities. Thats an fbi Law Enforcement activity on the counterterrorism squads. Bu they are sharing information across the board. Theres no doubt in any mind. In washington, d. C. , Capitol Police will be out in full forc today. There are no known threats against the capitol. Bu police are not taking any chances. Theyve put up fences for extra security. We will continue to follow the latest developments out of the middle east on air and streaming on cb news bay area and online at kpix. Com. You know, you can put jesus christ up for speaker of house and he still wouldnt get 217. They are back to square one. The leadership crisis for republicans in the house. Shawn reporter nicole, good morning. Tomorrow the art and pumpkin festival starts here in halfmoon bay. Were going to hear from businesses coming up about why it means so much to them. And today is friday the 13th. Which means its a day fo all things spooky. You are looking at some video of the us hornet in alameda as we list some of the reported haunted places here in the bay area. Th story goes many ghosts were reported being seen by those wh are caretakers of the old aircraft carrier. And were going to bring you more of at cretors, we handcraft every batch of our delicious popcorn. Like our cretors cheese and caramel mix. Great on their own, even better together. Try cretors, handcrafted smallbatch popcorn. Now to a developing story out of our nations capital. Republican congressman Steve Scalise has dropped out of the race to become speaker of the house. The move throws the gop House Majority into a tenth day without leadership. Scalise had narrowly clinchthe partys nomination on wednesday but withdrew late last night saying he couldnt rally much support to win a vote on the house floor. It could hamper lawmaker who need a reach an agreement o the federal government budget. Shawn chitnis is live this morning in halfmoon bay with more on the Economic Impact it has throughout the community. And you see all the people heading out there not just for the weekend but throughout the month of october. I feel like its the pumpkin capital in the bay. Reporter well, they say the are the world pumpkin capital and certainly pumpkintown. Gianna. Good morning and i agre with nicole who was saying last hour we really should call this a pumpkin pump for businesses here. Now check out what is behind me here, this is a great way to symbolize the art and pumpkin that comes together wit this festival. Were told this is the largest pumpkin sculptur in the world over 10,000 pounds and just one way to celebrate whats happening this weekend. Those who have been in town though for several years now sa they look forward to this every year because it really is what they need just as the season is changing. Cameron palmer is ready for the huge crowds theyll see across halfmoon ba this weekend, including at his restaurant and hotel. Its a muchneeded boost for business, not just for him, but many in halfmoon bay. Its phenomenal. I mean our place is during the entire month of october, we are packed. Reporter camerons restaurant and inn has its own charm and appeal. With the british theme celebrating the tradition of his family. But mixed in with all those collectibles from across the pond, plenty of decorations to make it clear its spooky seaso in pumpkintown. Still rebounding and i think a lot of us still have are a little behind on our bills. But this is going to be a real shot in the arm this october. Reporter the festival may b one weekend, but its part of a pumpkin season on the coast. A great way to transition from th busy summers here, creating a new attraction that keeps the community a destination well into the fall. Some weekends, theyre theres actually a line out the door and we seat 150 people. Reporter its that combination of a scenic setting and some of the most impressive pumpkins in the world that have made halfmoon bay a favorite with families, year after year. Just the beauty of the area. To see all these pumpkins out i the field. Is pretty incredible its photoop city time for the families. Reporter but like so many communities, the recovery from the pandemic and a challenging economic climate is still ongoing. Were starting to come back. And hopefully its all going to be good. Reporter and so i think man people will want a photoop wit this pumpkin scumture. Its mad out of ceramic tile, steel and cement one of many things to look forward to. Theyre going to have a lot including live music, of course local vendors and the real pumpkins some of the largest in the world. And just to emphasize again, how much this means for the economy its not just the businesses that we are talking about specifically. Those that are on main street. But also nonprofit that are going to benefit from this make a lot of the money that they need for the year ahead. As well as those pumpkin farms. So its a great way to really help this entire community and its happening tomorrow and sunday from 9 00 t 5 00. Gianna back to you. Really is shawn and a lot of the farms were hit hard this year especially with all the atmospheric rivers. All right. Thank you so much and hopefully shawn gets a pumpkin. On the wa home right . I know. Didnt he say earlie that the one behind him is 11 feet tall . Hard to understand that because of the depth there but can you imagine . A ceramic pumpkin is 11 feet tall . Have t check that fact with him. Over to jess coo and if people are decorating the homes for halloween this weekend, wha type of weather can they expect in the bay area . You know, were starting off this weekend with just a little bit of showers and Cool Temperatures in the forecast. But kind of makes it spooky right . I mean look at this forecast for our friday the 13th. We are waking up to the 50s with clear skies. Mostly in the Santa Clara Valley. 55 degrees right now in san jose. And as we head a little bit mor north, i mean, even along the areas like halfmoon bay were still in the 50s until we head just all the way up into wine country. Novato petaluma, santa rosa, all in the 40s. But lets talk about whats going on this weekend. Diving into the weeken forecast. If you want to get ou there and pick a pumpkin, or maybe just want to gleet out there and some festivities over at halfmoon bay. Upper 60s are expected both days saturday and sunday. But cloudy skies are expected too. And heres the reason why. We have another system sweeping its way in from offshore. Remember monday and tuesday . When we saw the light showers kind of sweep their way throughout the local communities. Some of us saw it and some of us not so much and this is kind of the same setup heading boo the fridaying evening forecast. Light scattered showers could impact in north bay into the overnight hours tonight. Dense clouds for the rest of us and then were going to wake up with dense clouds tomorrow morning which o course just ruins that Solar Eclipse. We would have seen 83 of it so kind of that ring of fire but sadly, these clouds ar definitely going to win. So lik i mentioned, that ring of fire would have been visible with that 83 heading into the Early Morning hours tomorrow. Just around 9 19 as it sweeps its wa throughout the bay area. The best chances you can possibly see it, probably down in the Santa Clara Valley. Or way off into the east bay. But even at that point, just be really careful if you have the Solar Eclipse glasses get them ready to go to at least attempt seein it. This is what we have today. 70s in the forecast up in the north bay and like i mentioned you guys are going to be seeing the rain this afternoon. But if anything, close to around 0. 01. So nothing too impressive. Heres what we have as we head south closer to San Francisco. Drier for us this afternoon but still nonetheless. 60s today and yesterday we were in the 70s. A nice cooldown heading into the weekend forecast. Speaking of 70s, thats what were going to be landing for the daytime highs today down in the Santa Clara Valley and all the way into the north bay. The east bay too. Anywhere from livermore into concord. The nex seven days and still some changes in the forecast and war up a little bit more into sunda and kind of cool down into monday. And then warm up even more as we head into next week as High Pressure builds its way in. Well actually see sunny skies at that point too. Which is just beautiful. Almost summerlike weather off in the distance but for now itfeels like fall right . 60s for us today and upper 70s around the corner into sunday. Gianna . All right, jessica, thank you. Lets check the freeways right now. Its friday light fo the most part. That doesnt mea there arent some slight delays at the bay bridge. The metering lights turned on a couple of minutes ago and you can see a little slow. Not too bad not what we would typically see at this time of this morning. So still bearable. I think you hav a few extra minutes to have tha extra cup of coffee or tea this morning. Or maybe Pumpkin Spice latte. It is a thing right now. All right, taking a live look here at 880 the nimitz both directions. They had some road work southbound 880. Near the coliseum. Everything is moving along just fine with no delays. Heres a live look at the san mateo bridge as well. Taking 88 to 92, heading westbound to 101 all clear right now. No delays. But this weekend its going to be quite busy on 92 for the halfmoon bay art and pumpkin festival which is happening you just saw a live report from shawn chitnis. Give yourself extra time headed out there. Leave early to get parking and 92 and highway 1 will be slow and go because of that. Also a composure along 101 northbound in redwood city that starts tonight and all lanes northboun between whipple and britton and extends until monday morning. We are counting down to kickoff for niners and browns o sunday. The return of Kyle Shanahan to cleveland in this mornings red and gold report. Plus, its a spectacle in the sky. We share how and where to view tomorrows solar eclips in the bay area. All right, lets talk niners. The 49 ertz will take make the second trip to the eastern time zone taking on cleveland on sunday. A couple of mvp hopefuls boarding that plane. A 50 record in tote. Here is matt lively with this mornings red and gold report. Reporter browns quarterbac Deshaun Watson will not play sunday against the 49ers becaus of a shoulder injury. Pj walker will make his first start for cleveland and sundays game wil be the 49ers first trip to cleveland since 2015. In that game, San Francisco lost to a johnny manzielled browns team, 2410. Arik armstead is the onl current niner that played in that game. Its a return to cleveland for Kyle Shanahan, wh was the browns offensive coordinator for one season in 2014. I really liked living out there. Some good people. And it was cold. My car was always dirty. Because snow was on the ground a lot and never melted i seemed like. But i really enjoyed the stadium and i enjoyed the people. And it was just one year though. Wasnt very long. Reporter for the red and gold report, im matt lively. Time now 6 27. Are you having a hard time renting here in the bay . You are certainly not the only one. Relief now on the way. Plus, taking a live look right now from jerusalem. At least any that i se right now. Heres what we have right now. 50s in the bay area. Widespread anywhere from livermore all the way into san jose. With partly cloudy skies this morning for us as were waking up and partly cloudy skies over the bay bridge too. Beautiful, beautiful sight to see. Remember the days when the bay bridge used to have the glittering beautiful lights . I hope they bring that back and i know it cost a lot of money. 56 degrees right now in San Francisco. A very, very similar trend just across the bay bridg into oakland. 40s all the way u into novato this morning. Its been a nice cool start to the morning. For our friday the 13th. Later into this afternoon well see wind gusts peak just around 2 00 actually. Light winds for us in the meantime though. Just not tomorrow. With the clouds rolling in. A bummer. At least jess is keeping it real. Theres like when you tell people that this is going to rain on their kids birthday. You know . Their wedding day. Talk abou superstitious. Thats good luck. Is it . Do you say that . Just becaus it sucks. Do people get married on friday the 13th. I dont think so. I actually did look that up. The longtime home of anchor brewing in San Francisco has officially hit the market. The chronicle reports the asking price of 40 million is less than half of what current owner sapporo paid for the property just six years ago. It includes two buildings on just over two acres. Its also selling the 127yearold anchor brand. You know what that means. Its game time. The niners are on the road in cleveland and th warriors are hitting the court again tonight for the second preseason game against the lakers. Yeah, lots to look forward d so break that all down we are now joined in studio by bay are sports expert damon bruce. Good morning. How are you . Were good. We have the niners heading to chief rapid and of course the warriors and lot of comparison of the warriors 2015 16 team to the niners this year. And their hot start. Are you sort of seeing that as well. Something special is happening no doubt about that. And in any anything weven sere from a Kyle Shanahan team its never gotten off to a star thats really reminiscent of this. They have the best offens and defense in football. Theyv got some of the best special teams playing football and through five games theyre as healthy as the nfl allows a Football Team to be. Its just as good of a start as they coul have ever hoped for and yeah, you know, that Warriors Team was dripping in good vibes. And it feels like this football tea is as well. All right, so theyre headed to cleveland to face the browns to try to get a wane for the First Time Since i was like a little girl. I mean, very, very young. 39 years i think we did the math. What is the likeliness . Im seeing this gam might be not close but some points on the board for the browns. Watson is not playing in the game. Pj walker is playing in the game. Shouldnt present tha many difficulties for the best defense in football. I like the niners. I like the niners a lot this week. They are a team that just seems to be so focused and i dont think this is going to set up to be a trap game. Two i a row here. And in the two game that theyve got coming up if you can hand select a player to not play against you, those two players will not be out there. No watson this week and on monday night football, no justi jefferson when they get to the minnesota vikings. So not only have the niners broken great ou of the gate, but the league is breaking great around them righ now. And that cincinnati game coming up in three weeks as big as that looked when the schedul came out. Looks a little difficult right now. I dont want to get too ahead of myself but again, those are good vibes you can continue to talk about. You talk a little bit about that magic the stars are fill they are aligning for the niner for sure. Okay. Lets talk abou the warriors and back in action tonight and preseason taking on the lakers. We saw chris paul start last week for the dubs bu greene didnt play either. How do you see this rotation playin out and just seeing steph on th court . Were not used to the way it looks but think were going to get very used to him as a player. And for the First Time Ever were going to have to do something weve never seen considered. Root for chris paul i mean thats just going to its just got to happen. Hes never made a Basketball Team worse. Say whatever you want about paul. He makes Basketball Teams better and he is i think the reason why the warriors are going to be the best Decision Making team in th nba this year. They have not been the best Decision Making team in the last few years and really undone them with all the turnovers. And just by being a bit more careful, and making th right choice is adding three four more wins and in the western conference, you both know thats two, three seeds above where you ended up last year. So its going to be fascinating to watch it unfold. Theres so much basketball thats about to come our way. Crist paul is going to be in th middle of it. What he does with jonathan kuminga. That is steph klay and dray. But it changes the equation for steve kerr tha ration greatly. So these are good times. Ready for it. All right, we have to talk a little baseball and already see upsets in the division series, but whats been the most surprising to you . Well, its great that bruce bochy is four wins away from appearing in another world series. And to think that hes got to go through dusty baker now to get there. Its just unbelievable. Legends. Watching two former giants managers thrive in this postseason. Is gabe kapler continue make it to the end of the regular season. But its been its been a remarkable run to me whats been really amazing is most of the games have been over by the 3rd inning, 4th inning. What has happened to starting pitching i the postseason . The dodgers got eviscerated. E. R. A. Over 25 in three games. Its amazing. So the crowd in philadelphia to me is the biggest standout of the entire postseason. They are bonkers for their phillies. Tha atmosphere has been great. And im ready for some championship series baseball. Absolutely. It is. And you know its goo to see bruce doing so well. I d miss him though in a giants uniform 100 . Damoning thank yo for coming in always appreciate your insight and energy. You ca catch him on the Youtube Channe damon bruce clues. The plus so good to be here and thank you very much. And i see that you have disagreed it but you are still always got to call out the boss. You guys saith other this week at a concert. Gianna, was skimming into work. Im going to have to reevaluate this, damon. I dont know. It was terrible. Peter gabriel, i love you. But that was boring. I couldnt disagree more. We were two different concerts clearly. He did not just say that. Okay. Lets take a quick look a whats going on by the way gianna, us 54 girls have to stick together. I dont have bo right now but i would bestandin on one next to gianna. A quick look outside and all throughout the Santa Clara Valley 50s in the forecast and grab the jacket. Its cool as we start this morning. Partly cloudy skies over san jose. Look at th beautiful live look behind me, this is actually from our rooftop cam overlooking the bay bridge. Nice little sweeping clouds pushing throughout the bay area this morning. Were sitting in the 50s from San Francisco into oakland. 40s in the north bay. But in the evening hours tonight because w have more rain in the forecast. Its not going to impack all of us. In the south bay forgetnt ate. In the east bay, probably forget about it. Ill show you the models in just a minute. Bu heres what we have on futurecast. Heading all the way into the evening hours tonight. Mostly cloudy skies for all of us in the bay area. But we coul see gist a splash of showers here or there up in the north bay. And along the coast closer to bodega bay. Heading into the evener hughes tonight. If you have a date planned. Maybe keep the umbrella handy or just deal with the fact that educate moot not be the best hair day. Early Morning Hours tomorrow, clouds widespread throughout the bay area. Which is kind of a bummer because we are kind of in the path of that Solar Eclipse sweeping its way throughout the bay area. Or at least throughou northern america. Isolead say. For us we could see about 83 and that would happen around 9 19 in the morning. But during that time, were going to be seeing cloudy skies so i dont know why i showed you that. It going to kind of be a bummer fo us like i said tomorrow. But he if you want to want to go check it out. Maybe head out of town or more south into the Santa Clara Valley. Theres a better chance of seeing less clouds in those Early Morning hours but right now the models are still showing widespread clouds throughout the bay which will impact areas like halfmoon bay waking up tomorrow morning and heading into the afternoon hours. Were expecting 60s in the forecast both saturday and sunday. Just in time for the ar and pumpkin festival thats happening. So lets head up to the north bay real fast where daytime highs today are a lot cooler than yesterday. Were siting in the low 70s this afternoon in santa rosa. Were also sitting in the 60s near sa franciscoment but just yesterday, we were talking abou 70s there. Lets take a look at the south bay too. All the way into the Santa Clara Valley we go, mostly upper 70s and we see some low 80s into morgan hill. And forget about 80s in the eas bay. Actually nice cool day for us there. It feels like fall right now especially heading into this afternoon. 70s near antioch. Thats beautiful and were going to hold on to the 70s for now. On sunday we start to warm up a little bit more. Ten degree jump there and then actually warm up more heading into late next week as High Pressure builds its way in from offshore. That will give us sunny skies and a lot warmer temperatures well off in the distance but as we take it a step back for now, were still in the 60s today. Mostly throughout the bay. Gianna . All right, jess, thank you. Lets talk about the freeways this morning. On this friday an yeah, happy friday to you friends. Its the weekend. Hopefully you have got some stu stuff planned but in the meantime you have to get flu a little bit of this headed to work in San Francisco. Its starting to get little bit busier this much closer to the 7 00 hour. Administration administration are on. The backup now beyond the overpass. But certainly seeing a bit of a slowdown there. Now there are a couple of things aning this weekend that you do want to tak note of. If you plan on commuting along 101 at all between that area through redwood city between whipple an brittan avenue. All northbound lanes will be closed starting a 10 00 tonight for caltrans road work that will extend until monday morning. 5 00 in the morning. Is when they antis pa the lanes to open up. When they did the southbound side lanes opened up earlier than that. Bu in the meantime use alternate routes, 280 would be the best bet or even el camino.
