We are talking about heat advisories all over the bay area. Lets go to paul heggen who can fill us in. It is heating us up and then maybe rain after . Yes. The primary concern is the heat, the heat dome has arrived and it took over today, it will peak tomorrow, while saturday will not be as hot it will still be above normal for the high temperatures for the first half of the weekend. Right now, beautiful towards the golden gate salesforce tower. Temperatures are still in the lower to middle 80s even though the sun went down at 6 45 this evening. Those numbers are going to drop off quickly heading through the rest of the evening. You will be able to open up the windows later tonight as the temperatures retreat to a mix of 50s, 60s by early tomorrow morning, the benefit of the longer nighttime hours in early autumn we have a chance for the heat that builds up in the afternoon to escape off into space with clear skies over head through the rest of tonight. Then, the heat, it will return. Take a look at forecast high temperatures for tomorrow. It will be substantially above average. That is the record, the old record, 95 degrees, hot spot around the bay area. The temperatures will likely exceed 80 degrees along the coast, halfmoon bay, redwood city, fremont, middle to upper 80s. The temperatures, 24 degrees on saturday. Another stretch of significantly above average temperatures. Lets take a look at the fire threat. We will look at that by evaluating the humidity levels that usually recover overnight as the temperatures go down, the humidity levels go up. It is not the case in the north bay mountains, you see the 2530 levels around there, lower than we would like to see it. Once the temperatures heat up the numbers drop further. They will not be critically low. That is in the 510 range. We will see 15 humidity by tomorrow afternoon, farther inland and higher elevations, fire threat is something we have to keep an eye on. Not off of the charts like it would be if we had stronger onshore winds. Taking a look at the forecast. Including a significant cool down, farther downtheline. The temperatures will go from the 90s inland for a couple more days down to the 80s on sunday. Then, a couple days in the 70s. A big drop on the roller coaster before we return to the 80s inland by wednesday and thursday. It is a similar trend for areas around the bay. Similar temperature pattern we expect over the next several days, clear skies, plenty of sunshine for the blue angels display tomorrow and again on saturday. Maybe a few clouds on sunday, that is a big maybe. A better chance of clouds and showers late in the day on monday and into monday night. The best chance of that is around the bay and north of the golden gate and along the coast as well. Coastal temperatures another couple warm days but you will return to familiar territory in the 60s by the second half of the weekend. All right, looking good. Thank you, paul. The same year i can come back stateside, get a predecessor to an ipad and for 100 of software i know where i was. Why do are we have a separation what i can get commercially and what i can get in the military. Reporter that problem was solved in 2015, serving as a connection point between private companies and the pentagon. Their goal, identify products that can be used by the military and accelerate the acquisition process. It can take years to get the funds and a lot of these companies around here dont have the time to sit around and wait for that. Reporter nothing can replace the feeling of training in an actual jet.
