Salvio has seen the phenomenon unfold in recent years. A lot of friends and family just looking for a better price, so they move out to another state where houses are more affordable than california. Reporter affordability is the biggest barrier ellercon says, but oftentimes perceived affordability is an immediate hurdle. People see prices and think they cant afford to buy here when there are often many ways they can. You dont need 20 down anymore to buy a house and a lot of us are its embedded in our brain from early on if you do not have 20 , you cannot buy. We all need to get together and collaborate as all latinos and help especially the latino realtors i think to help our community. Lets get back to paul and talk about our weather for this week because weve got a lot of stuff happening, fleet week toward the end of the week. Last year during the parade of ships and the blue angels friday, it was so cold. I dont think ive been that cold ever. It was very chilly last year. At least the friday show you could see it. Saturday and sunday it was kind of just above the fog, different scenario this time. Were in for a big warmup that is generally associated with Clear Conditions in San Francisco and that is the story as we finish the workweek. In the short term, were in a transition the next couple days, temperatures warming up another couple notches tomorrow and wednesday. The peak of this encounter with the heat dome will be thursday and friday. Well also have offshore winds, but they wont be that strong. That helps mitigate the fire threat usually associated with hot weather this time of year, could end of a moderate fire threat looming later this week. The good news is once our temperatures warm up significantly, we arent talking about real high end heat risks. The threat of overexertion, moderate heat risk on thursday. Once theyre into the 90s, the moderate heat risk becomes more widespread, similar conditions once again friday. You want to exercise caution. Stay hydrated, but we arent talking about triple digit temperatures or record breaking temperatures either. Thursday 80s around the bay with mostly 90s inland, but records are in the90s around the bay, 102 for the record high in San Francisco. Friday i think well see a slightly closer encounter to some record highs in a couple locations. San jose will be 2 degrees off the record high of 95 degrees, livermore about 5 degrees below the record high. At this point it doesnt look like this will be one of those record shattering heatwaves like labor day last year. Right now looking outside from the mark hopkins hotel, the marine layer and fog hanging out around the coast, fairly shallow marine layer tonight, 60s around the bay, mid to upper 70s inland, very nice conditions across the bay area today, pleasantly warm tomorrow. Lets look at the forecast highs for tuesday across the bay, warmer than today. Were in the 70s to around 80 degrees inland, into the 80s tomorrow, mid80s in the santa clara valley, temperatures will be warmest inland and the east bay, mid to upper 80s, low 80s in fremont and redwood city, upper 60s for half moon bay. Mid to upper 70s in both San Francisco and oakland and most communities in the north bay will warm to the 80s by tomorrow afternoon, not quite as warm as the inland valleys in the east bay, about 3 to 5 degrees above normal across the bay area tuesday afternoon. Lets check out the sevenday forecast. The inland temperatures will be flat out hot. It wont be record setting, but a bit uncomfortable by thursday and friday especially and still hot for the first half of the weekend, but a rapid drop in temperatures saturday to sunday to monday, might see a couple showers by monday night into tuesday next week. Its kind of an outside chance, but something well keep an eye on. Temperatures around the bay will be very warm. You can categorize these as hot for bayside locations, into the mid to upper 80s wednesday, thursday and friday and along the coast while a lot of the summer you have escaped any brief encounter with hot temperatures, 80 degrees on thursday, back into your faliar 60s with the fog and cloud cover back overhead by sunday and monday. Paul, thank you. Time for a check of whats ahead at 6 00, we switch over to Juliette Goodrich. Thanks, liz. Matt lively soaked it all in. Reporter here at warriors media day Training Camp starts tomorrow. One of the Big Questions is whether or not one of the newest warriors, chris paul, will start or come off the bench. Im all about winning. Whatever i can do to help our team win. Reporter its been over three months since paul, a long time villain of golden state, joined the warriors, a sight hes getting used to. Even media day when youre saying dub nation, that has not been a sound i didnt like to hear for the past i dont know how many years. I took a picture of my locker and the union form and jersey and put it in my family group chat and even in the group chat with all my homies and friends and theyre like oh, damn, thats going to take some getting used to. Kind of acknowledged the awkwardness of it at first. There will probably still be moments when you get closer to the games and regular season where see him out there and its like oh, yeah, hes with us. Reporter with paul and Draymond Green now teammates its two of the most hated players in the league joining forces. Draymond, cp, theyre the players you hate to play against, but you love them on your team. If you ever watch chris compete, hes kind of an [ bleep ]. May say the same thing about me. You get to know him, you realize theres a competitor and person and when you step outside the heat of the battle, you can separate those two things and i am thankful to have the opportunity to separate the two things. Reporter it will be a few weeks before we see draymond take the court. He hurt his average until a pickup basketball game. He came down on it wrong. He adds hes a fast healer and expects to come back even stronger. Nfl in sundays win over the cardinals, running back Christian Mccaffrey scored three more touchdowns than brock purdy had incompletions. Purdy, who improved to 90 in the regular season as San Franciscos starter was 20 of 21 passing, 95. 2 completion percentage setting a singlegame franchise record, but after the game purdy was still bothered by his one misfire. They told me i had one incompletion the end of the game. I was like oh, my gosh. Honestly, im so mad about the one i missed to christian. I broke out. He was open. I should have hit him and we would have been in field goal range. So that is something ill have to learn from and wish i could have back. His one incompletion he threw to me, so thats on me. Baseball, after 13 seasons with the giants, Brandon Crawford played possibly his final game with the orange and black on sunday.
