People have access to services that could include residential treatment, medication management, case management, therapy, crisis services. The program will last up to 12 months with possibility to extend it for another year. The courts are supposed to provide regular over sight but cannot require treatment. He does have a warrant from a homicide earlier this year. A shark attack in marin. Coastguard and First Responders are searching for a missing swimmer who may have been bitten by a shark. It happened off of Wildcat Beach. Da lin talked to firefighters. Reporter it is unclear which type of shark attacked. It is remote but you have to hike quite a few miles beyond this gate to get there. Marin firefighters received a call before 10 30 sunday. Three men went for a swim at Wildcat Beach when they say a shark attacked one of them. Two people swam back to shore. They told First Responders there was a large pool of blood in the water. Before the attack they say they were swimming about 25 to 50 yards from the beach. We went to a high point on the camp ground area above the beach. We were able to observe a good portion of the ocean from there. We had two people with binoculars overseeing the rescue. Reporter aside from firefighters assisting from land, there were two jet skis, a coastguard boat, a helicopter looking for the swimmer. After searching 21 square nautical miles in ideal search conditions, we have been unsuccessful. The intent is to continue to search. Reporter the missing swimmer is a man about 50. The three were camping with a group of 10 to 15 people above the beach. I am told the two young people were part of the group but were not in the water with the victim. The further amount of time decreases chance of survivability. The waters are extremely dangerous and most locals know not to go for a swim. There is either a huge drop off, sharks, rip currents. Very dangerous. Hikers notice area and First Responders all hoping for a positive outcome. To my knowledge, this could be the first fatal shark attack but we are hopeful he will be found. Authorities say shark attacks are extremely uncommon in this area. The coastguard says theyll continue to search into over night hours as long as weather conditions allow them. Remaining hopeful. Dozens of California Law enforcement agencies and District Attorney offices are about to get millions of dollars to fight organized retail crime. In the bay area, 13 Law Enforcement agencies are getting a slice of the 267 million state grant automatic with four local dass. Recently they were near alaska operating with navy seals out of the well deck. This is a change in mission for them, working on outreach and introducing the navy to citizens of San Francisco. Its not just navy. Its marines as well, right . How big of a unit is this . Absolutely. This ship has been 300 to 400 sailors. Then we have marines from combat logistics on board. During deployment it can fit quite a bit of marines, around 600 roughly. We were talk being this. You havent been to San Francisco fleet week.
