Jeremy stoner was kidnapped from his home in vallejo. His body was found a few days later in sacramento county. For most parts of the inlet portions of the bay area, we are talking about spot that did not see much rain. For some reason, the camera lost me. Lets see if we can get that back. Okay, we will see light rain amounts, for santa clara valley, a trace in san jose, a few hundredths of an inch moving farther north, they do pick up seven hundredths around San Francisco, a little less than that for oakland. The big winners were in the north bay, but even there, we did not see vast amounts of total rainfall. Talking about not much more than a trace in novato, a little over a 10th of an inch in santa rosa by the time the sun came up this morning. Lets take a look at what will happen over the next few days. We will start with the amount of rain it felt to our north. This is important, we saw very light rainfall amounts, but were they really need even, the fire zones of northern california, that is where they saw anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of total rainfall. That definitely helps. Does not necessarily extinguish the fires, but it certainly knocks down to the potential for growth and the amount of smoke they produce, so we hope they can keep the smoke from drifting down toward us. Farther down the line, while we dont have significant rain chances in the sevenday forecast, we have a signet signal in the long range forecast for the first third of october. Kind of a weak signal for now, but only to keep an eye on. To go along with that, signals toward below average temperatures in early october. For now, blue skies overhead, we see some patchy low clouds cover and fog, the around the bay and along the coast tonight. Dont think it will push far inland. Tomorrow, temperatures will run nearnormal, continuing into thursday. Then, a pattern change sends us to cooler temperatures, especially noticeable in land by the end of the work week and into the weekend and we finished the month of september.
