In any significant dramatic event, time is of the essence to transport the patient to definitive care in order to give them the best possible chance at survival. It went on to say the patient died in the emergency room 20 to 30 minutes after arrival and calls this unacceptable. Cruise sent out a statement disputing the whole thing saying the ambulance behind the av had a clear path to pass the av. As soon as the victim was loaded into the ambulance, the ambulance left the scene immediately and was never impeded from doing so by the av. Its labor day. This is not supposed to happen. This is for cooking, not to be damp, but at least we avoided last years record shattering high temperatures. We settle into a normal pattern now. Normal is nice. We can handle normal, as infrequently as it happens, slowly warming back up to average temperatures as this swirl in the atmosphere loses its influence the next couple days. We see a climb the rest of the workweek. The average high is 87. Well be 2 degrees on either side of that into the first half of the weekend and a little warmup, about 5 degrees above normal sunday and monday and backing down quickly like every warm spell or inland heatwave this summer. It wont last long, back down to below normal temperatures by the middle of next week. It was really nice over the weekend with the air quality back into the good category. Now looking down towards the santa clara valley, 80s inland, 78 degrees in san jose with 60s around the bay, 66 in oakland, 64 degrees in San Francisco. The warmest spots are 83 degrees. In Early September we can definitely handle that. Just a modest warmup the next few days. Well see fog spread across the bay into the inland valleys by early tomorrow morning. It wont last long there, the fog backing up to the coast midday and it looks like theres going to be the swirl off the coast to pull that fog away from the coast and help the sunshine emerge for the normally gray parts of the bay area. Tonight mid to upper 50s. Get the free air conditioning once again. Highs tomorrow reach up to about a degree or 2 within normal on either side of the Early September averages, mid60s along the coast, a mix of upper 70s and low 80s down the peninsula and south end of the bay with low to mid80s in the santa clara valley. The trivalley and the delta, warm but not hot. The hottest spot are in the upper 80s and we can handle that, mostly low to mid80s for the try valley, low to mid70s for San Francisco and oakland with temperatures in the north bay low to mid80s, where youre supposed to be this time of year. Even farther north were talking about the hottest spots approaching 90 degrees around ukiah and northern napa county around st. Helena. Temperatures warm up in the sevenday forecast, but its going to take a while. The last two days of the sevenday outlook are the warmest, sunday and monday, mid70s in San Francisco, and some of the hottest spots middle portion of the 90s, a modest warmup along the coast staying below 70 degrees, more sunshine sunday and monday. Until then the fog will be fairly stubborn the next several days. Thanks so much, paul. Stop what youre doing and watch this next story. Bodega bay. He goes there every weekend. Wheres that . Up the coast, an hour and a half by freeway or two hours if you take the coast highway. Reporter that conversation takes place in what was once a small diner. The tides restaurant was the center or heart of bodega bay in the movie. Reporter still is actually except it is vastly expanded. Now back in the day the owner didnt charge hitchcock a dime for shooting on the premises. All mitch wanted was his 15 minutes of fame. The owner of the tides gets a cameo appearance and he also gets a line in the film. Reporter that happens in this crucial sequence which took place right there. As melanies attacked by a bird while in a boat he comes running down and asks rod taylor what happened . What happened, mitch . Gull hit her. A gull . Thats his big moment. Reporter in the end hitchcock didnt lose money. He ended up making five times as much as it cost him to produce the film. He also made one more thing, a lasting impression. Just ask the Tourist Bureau in bodega and bodega bay. Apparently 10,000 tourists come looking for hitchcock sites every year. Reporter 60 years after filming wrapped here, bodega is still very much for the birds. Thats it. Im watching that tonight.
