Happening today an update from San Francisco police about an officer involved shooting. It happened last tuesday on market street. Police say that when they responded to a call of two men fighting one of them allegedly waved a knife at them. Then at some point the shooting happened. Developing this morning for the first time ever, the s fda filed manslaughter charges against a former Police Officer who shot and killed a man while on duty. In december of 2017 the particular was in the front passenger seat of a patrol car when he fired through the window, shattering the glass and killing kita oneil who was not armed. The officer was immediately fired. Now the da is charging him with several crimes including volunteer manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, assault and negligent discharge of a firearm.
