Many locations are colder compared to yesterday at this time from 2 to 11 degrees colder compared to yesterday with the 24 hour temperature change. It is not as foggy as yesterday but we are dealing with areas of fog, three miles for the visibility in napa. Through the day, we are looking at the daytime highs in low to mid 60s, a little bit above average for this time of year, slightly warmer compared to yesterday. Well talk about that all important weekend forecast coming up. Gianna, how is it looking on the roads . It is friday light so far. We are not seeing a lot of troubles. At the bay bridge toll plaza, things are moving smoothly. No delays on the 580 connector. The Golden Gate Bridge is looking good, easy ride out of marin with a 14 minute drive time. San mateo bridge is also great with no brake lights in both directions, clear between 880 and 101. Super commuters, altamont, 24 minutes 205 to 680. We have some breaking news in San Francisco, a fire at an apartment building. This is on davis court, this fire breaking out about 1 20 this morning. It looks like it started on the 11th floor of the building and has left Severe Damage in several apartments as well as smoke damage in many as well. Luckily everybody made it out all right with the help of the fire department. They had to rescue multiple people. There were two minor injuries during these rescue operations according to firefighters. Right now, the building is partially evacuated so we dont know how many people are displaced. But we spoke with a couple of them this morning. A fire alarm went off this morning i guess after 1 00. My unit, it sounded and then it stopped. I was going back to bed. But i could hear people going down the fire escape on the side of my apartment unit. Long story short, i got up. When i came out of my apartment unit, the smoke was coming down the hallway. I exited thinking it was not real until i realized it was real. So we have the minimum layers on top of us to not get too cold. With coronavirus cases sky rocketing and thanksgiving days away, most of the bay area is about to be under a new curfew. A statewide curfew applies to every county in the purple tier. Starting this saturday between 10 00 p. M. And 5 00 in the morning, people in the counties in the purple tier are asked to stay inside unless theyre considered essential workers. Its a serious, serious wake up call. You know, right now we have icu capacity. We have in patient capacity. That doesnt necessarily last forever. Here is what you can still do. Routine grocery runs, warricking your dog, ordering restaurant take out. The order will last a month. In alameda, many wondering how a stay at home curfew is going to help stop the spread of the virus.
