More of a mix of clouds and sunshine by wednesday afternoon before the sun goes down. Adding chances of rain tomorrow and again on wednesday. Generally a quarter inch to a half inch of total rainfall for most portions of the bay area, but a little bit more in the north bay. Three quarters of an inch to an inch of total rain. Same for the santa cruz mountains. Thats a decent amount of rain, but its going to fall in two different waves, which will mean it has a chance to soak in. Temperatures cooling off. 47 in santa rosa and 48 in livermore. As the clouds thickened overhead, the temperatures arent going to drop too much farther. We start off tomorrow morning with a mission of 40s and 50s on the map. As the clouds thicken, well warm up a couple degrees before the sun comes up. Were not going to warm up too much from there, though. Low to mid60s for the south bay. Youre warmer because the rain will take longer to get to you. Same thing farther inland in the east bay. The trivalley mostly in the low to mid60s as well. High temperatures for the north bay, and even that might be a stretch since that rain moves in faster and cools things off.
