About 34,000 people in the east bay between Contra Costa County and Alameda County are without power right now. This is certainly disruptive, to say the least, for those people. Whether they are working from home or doing Distance Learning for school. Last night the lights went out as pg e turned off the power around here at 8 30. Shoppers and diners fled the montclare villages. Some worry that if the fire does break out , how will they get evacuation orders and other Important Information of cell phone reception is spotty . It is also dark and it is trash was driving in north bay this morning. We have learned that santa rosa fire has extra firefighters and Law Enforcement on hand as a result of the red flag warning. The Emergency Operations center has been activated throughout the night. We are prepared for potential downed power lines as well as fires throughout the city.
