This is a disease that has a number of uncertain paths. And even with the experience now with millions of patients, all we can say is that certain patients have a higher risk of things going sour and other patients have a lower risk and we suspect they will do well. Our Investigative Reporter has been digging into the data with more than 30,000 addresses that may have been used to make fraudulent edd claims. For the first week it was the same two or three people. Georgette says the employment document keep coming. Add recently acknowledged that crooks are stealing victim identities through data breaches who are implying for employment with their names and Social Security numbers, using fake names like georgettes. Weve obtained data that indicates georgette may be one of more than 30,000 addresses used to apply for edd benefits for 10 or more different people, in some cases more than 1000 people at each address. We counted 23 different names and letters coming to georgettes house with more than 33 Social Security numbers using her address. Debit cards and notifications for employment. The data shows 23 different claims for daniel frankels address. There is a whole container about this big. Among the top 50 addresses there are at least eight locations where you might expect multiple claims encoding homeless shelters, and a post Office General delivery address. But the vast majority, five out of six are mailbox rentals or homes listed for rent or for sale including multimillion dollar mansions. And this house for sale in sacramento was used to apply for unemployment under more than 1300 unique Social Security numbers. The photos online clearly show it is entry. And that strip mall has more than 5000 claims. Assemblyman shoe reached out to top edd leadership. I did not hear back but i do understand that as someone close to edd, this was not a surprise in the system should have been able to address this but did not. Edd did not confirm or deny our findings but says they are canceling multiple claims on the same address. Yet the documents continue to come. While you still see plenty of smoke looking south, less of it is overhead and that did a number on the temperatures today. Weve got more direct sunshine so if you were inland you felt a big warmup because of that. Look at the difference, 24 hours, 8 degrees warmer in santa rosa, concord and livermore. We cool down in the bay because the onshore flow brought the cooler air in. But you really did feel the influence of less smoke overhead if you were inland, you felt the warmup. Look at the numbers for daytime highs today. We will bring those numbers down tomorrow by as much as 5 to 8 degrees. And later tonight into tomorrow, the stronger onshore flow continues and thats got to look good. That is a nice clearing for us. So fingers crossed that the air quality should be much like today, if not better. In other words we will start out better in the morning so we get a longer part of the day with reasonable air quality. Then we will turn our focus ahead. I mean thats, if this pans out, and today is saturday and right now im showing your forecast for next saturday which is never a good idea, but considering how much we need a scenario like this, its time to Start Talking about this possibility and its time to be hopeful. And in the video message the president even acknowledged that the real test could be the next few days, all of this after some conflicting information earlier today. The president s physician and a team of doctors from walter reed said saturday that the president is doing well. He is in exceptionally good spirit saying i feel like i can walk out today. A source familiar with the president s health told reporters that vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. Adding we are still not on a clear path to a full recovery. Cbs news has also confirmed that the president was administered supplemental oxygen at the white house friday before he was flown to walter reed in the evening. It is not clear if the president was having trouble breathing at the time. President trumps physician deflected questions on the topic. He is not on oxygen right now. He has not received any at all . He has not needed any this morning at all. New questions are emerging about the timeline surrounding the president s diagnosis. 72 hours into the diagnosis. And white house statement dr. Conley said he incorrectly use the term 72 hours and should have said day three. Adding that the president tested positive thursday night. Earlier that same day President Trumps attended a fundraiser in new jersey. He traveled to minnesota the day before. He was not at that event. So now there is concern on capitol hill. I checked in with senator Dianne Feinsteins Office Tonight because we learned that she will be receiving a test just as a precaution. That is expected to happen on monday. Which is a very hopeful, optimistic, fingers crossed outlook to next saturday. Take a look at the map over my shoulder. It showing you the possible accumulated rainfall across Northern California for saturday and sunday. Now this is a long way out. We are doing a 7 day forecast from today to saturday. And one of the roles in meteorology is you should not put a whole lot of emphasis on a 7 day forecast. But considering the situation we are in, and how vital it is that we get rain here in Northern California to finally start putting an end to this with fires and smoke, its time to start looking at this even though it 70s out because there is reason to be hopeful. This wouldnt arrive until saturday and it could be a good rainmaker for much of Northern California. But having shown that one forecast you, im going to show you this other longrange models. It shows, if not as much rain, it still shows rain. And thats important. Because the two most trusted models we would use for a long range forecast like this are both going, yet it looks like you will get rain in Northern California. Theyve been changing the details a little day by day, which is going to happen for now through saturday. So whatever we get will not look exactly like this. And theres one other way to look at this. And this is something the National Weather service put out today im gonna put a graph on your screen. This is showing you what rainfall has been like for that threeday period for that time in october. And going all the way back to 1858 through 2018, each one of these lines shows you what the rainfall was for the period through the blue line shows you inches, in other words, only 10 of the time going all the way back to 1850 for this three day period in october, only 10 of the time have we ever gotten rainfall over an inch. So we really have to keep our fingers crossed on the likelihood of this coming together. Since its early we will Start Talking about it. Lets talk about some of the other important details in the forecast. As far as the daytime highs are concerned for tomorrow, we will get a cooldown inland, we were sitting in the hundreds for many locations and be back down into the 90s for tomorrow. And we keep cooling down from there. So we will to butchers dip back down into the upper 70s. And you can see thats our chance of rain that shows up by the time we get to saturday and sunday. And just a quick review, for that red flag warning, just to show you the updated timing, he goes from now through 6 00 tomorrow because we will have pretty intense winds over the higher peaks of the northbay mountains, up above wine country. And your morning lows, back down into the mid and upper 50s for tomorrow morning and daytime highs will bring you pretty much right back up to those low 90s that we were taking a look at on the 7 day forecast.
