A first report of an accident northbound 680. Involving a motorcycle. We are seeing some slight delays as you approach the scene. Two left lanes are blocked for emergency crews. So a little slow as you head through there. And it is foggy this morning in some spots especially on the Golden Gate Bridge. Chp issued a fog advisory. Right around 2 30 this morning. And it is still pretty murky out there so limited visibility may be a factor for that commute through marin county this morning. So extra careful as you work across the Golden Gate Bridge. And a live look here at the bay bridge toll plaza. Looks like the metering lights may have just been turned on and traffic is certainly starting to stack up as you head through there into San Francisco. Thats a look at your morning drive. Lets check in with mary and its another day of good air quality. Love to be able to say this. Thats right. That clean and fresh air for the bay area once again. Checking air quality conditions, looking good all across the bay area. So enjoy it because we are going to see some changes. Could have the hazy skies back as we look to our weekend and early next week. So air quality forecast, looking good for today. But moderate air quality returns for us friday into the weekend. And early next week. So watching those northerly to northeasterly winds and that offshore wind flow could bring some more smoke back into the bay area as we look to the weekend. Also a high fire danger. This is something that is very concerning for us. A fire weather watch in effect from 11 00 a. M. Saturday until 8 00 a. M. On monday. For the areas highlighted in yellow. So north bay mountains, east bay hills and interior valleys due to dry and gusty offshore winds. Could see gusts up to 35 to 50 Miles Per Hour. Especially up in the higher elevations. Low relative humidity values. So were looking at critical fire weather conditions as we go through our weekend and early next week. In the meantime, its definitely foggy along the coast and right around the bay. Especially for our Golden Gate Bridge camera. Temperatures running in the 50s and 60s. So mid 50s in santa rosa and looking at low 60s livermore and San Francisco. Mid 60s for concord and oakland and for san jose as we kick off a new day here. So this is what to expect. Looking at that morning fog at the coast. And right around the bay. With cloudy conditions inland. A bit cooler for today with that stronger ocean breeze bringing in slightly warmer for tomorrow. But heating up for the weekend. In fact, a heat wave in store for us as we look to our weekend and early next week. So that stronger ocean breeze for today again thats the reason why its going to be a little bit cooler compared to yesterday. Its all because of that low pressure system bringing that rain to the Pacific Northwest and then watch as we head into the weekend. As heat dome builds for us. So thats why were talking about temperatures skyrocketing for our weekend. That high fire danger and could have those hazy skies back again. For today, though, looking at 81 in santa clara and 82 for san jose and for the south bay, 83 for campbell and for the east bay 86 in concord. 85 for Pleasant Hill and low to mid80s for the trivalley. Around the bay, upper 60s in San Francisco and mid 70s in oakland and for the north bay, in the low to mid80s this afternoon. Heres that extended forecast and what you can expect. As we are looking at temperatures just a little bit warmer for tomorrow. Much warmer saturday but heating up with triple digit heat inland sunday and monday of next week. Back to you.
