Good air quality for today. We are looking at offshore winds beginning to return for us for saturday. That means more smoke moving into the bay area as we look to tomorrow with a spare the air alert that will be in effect for tomorrow. Now, i dont think the smoke will be as bad as last week, still we will see smoke and hazy skies pushup into our region. This lowpressure system bringing that strong sea breeze and clean air and you can see the rain across the Pacific Northwest in northern california. As we look to the weekend, that low which is east. The winds turn offshore. That is a concern with those northerly winds, that they could push that smoke into the bay area from fires burning to our north. Again, i dont think it will be as bad as last week, but still in our smoke forecast model, as we look to tomorrow, smoke from the north pushing into the bay area, so we will be watching them very closely for you as we look to tomorrow.
