If you are waking up with this morning, mary lee will get you caught up on our forecast. Good morning. A lot of us are wondering when the smoke is going to end. It is exhausting. We are going so many days now, one month consecutively at 28 Straight Days of our spare the air alert for the bay area. So smoky skies and that will continue. We are dealing with the fall, the smoke. Weve got smog once again. As we start our five day, you can see air quality looking at unhealthy readings this morning for all the bay area. You can see all the red dots, this is aaron now. I showed you at the top of the halfhour, the purple air readings and also now are now. All those showing the unhealthy airquality as we start off our day because of that spare the air alert the remains in effect. Because of the smoky skies, and unhealthy airquality. We are looking at airquality readings between 150 and 200 so that does put us in the unhealthy category. Here is a live look with the Treasure Island camera and you can see, just that Poor Visibility as we start off our day. Temperatures are in the 50s to the 60s. 57 in concord at this hour. Also deliver more we have looking at temperatures that are on the cool side because of the smoke. We are going to see seasonal daytime highs below average for this time of year. Checking visibility, down to a mile and a half at henman bay, three quarters at sfo. Two miles for hayward, petaluma, 2. 5 for oakland, concord and 1. 5 for livermore as we start off the day. Were looking a little bit of onshore flow. A little bit of the seabreeze kicking in. Westerly winds at seven at sfo, petaluma, nine at oakland as well as for hayward. And our smoke model paints i think just a little bit of a positive improvement here. But i think with all the smoke is not taking into account the extent of the smoke in our atmosphere. This shows a little bit better for the airquality because it is taking to account that onshore flow and the ocean breeze. I think it is still going to be smoky though as we have through our day. So as we go through, the upper level lows off shore, the sea breeze returns slowly today through the rest of the week. Thby of the week, thursday and friday that low pressure system will bring the rain to the Pacific Northwest by thursday and for friday. That is a stronger ocean breeze for us. The airquality might get a little better but by the weekend, that low pressure system will dip east and that means offshore wind flow for the weekend. So critical fire weather conditions expected by the weekend. Check out our daytime highs. Suitable for this time of year, if not below average. Mid 80s for concord and livermore, mid70s for san jose. Mid 60s for San Francisco. Theres the extended forecast. We are going to continue with the smoke for tomorrow. We are going to see temperatures staying pretty much the same, if not cooler by thursday and for friday. And we are going to see the offshore wind blow with northeasterly wind by the weekend. So be concerned once again. The check out a look of the traffic and smoggy conditions. Good morning mary. It will certainly affect your drive. Advisory street advisers to two limited it visibility.
