Give yourself 20 minutes. South 680 had an earlier trouble spot and that has been cleared. More than 680 has a crash around the area. Most of those delays are on the southbound side of 680 with a one hour drive time from 580 down to 237. It is tough as far as alternates go. You can see the ride along 580 is sluggish through castro valley. If you want to go to 880 down to fremont, there are reports of an accident southbound around all dorado.
