As we head through the day mid 60s in San Francisco and upper 60s in oakland. 80 in san jose and mid 80s for concord. So highs about one to two degrees below average for this time of year is right around where we should be for this time. But we are going to heat up as High Pressure builds back in. Just in time for the weekend. A secondalarm fire brernight an it happened at an apartment complex that was under construction in concord. That fire ripped through all three floors of the building and no one lived in the building and once again it was under construction. Right now no word on what caused that fire. And this morning, san mateo beach parking lots will also be shut down for the Holiday Weekend. Those lots are closing at sunrise. Santa clara county is adopting to the pandemic and is now announcing a plan to allow all businesses in the countyto reopen. The one requirement to reopening, they must follow some specific protocols. That includes social distancing, mask wearing, and capacity limits. Each business must submit its plans to the county which will be accessible to the public. If the criteria can be met, most businesses will be allowed to reopen. That includes hair and nail salons, and gatherings of up to 20 people indoors and 60 outdoors. We need to adapt this virus has adapted to us and we need to adapt to the virus. Some local owners say these are rules they are prepared to follow to reopen. Reporter protesters take to the street outside of the Army Recruitment office in san antonio in honor of specialist Vanessa Guillen. They remain tightlipped about hi disappearance even after human remains were found in this Central Texas field on tuesday. There are obviously pieces of information and evidence that cannot be shared with the public during an active criminal investigation. Reporter cit aa robinson was a suspect in her disappearance. Investigators say robinson died by suicide when police approached him near fort hood on wednesday and an hour later his girlfriend sicily aguilar was arrested for her involvement in the case. Guillen vanished from fort hood in april. Her family believes she was sexually harassed and robinson believed she was reporting him. When she went to the armory room, robinson was with her. And he took a hammer and bludgeoned her, killed her in there. Reporter but Army Investigators say so far, there is no evidence guillen was sexually harassed and they made it clear robinson superior. We take those allegations and all allegations seriously. And were going to pursue them to our fullest extent. Its not acceptable. Reporter in an affidavit robinson and aguilar are accused of inmachete type knife to disposes of her body before burning and burying it in a shallow grave. Temperatures just slightly below average for this time of year. Were at 57 in concord and oakland and mid 50s livermore and San Francisco. San jose in the mid 50s and 53 for santa rosa. So as we head through the afternoon, its going to be a cool day once again. Along the coast. In the low 60s. Around the bay, mid to upper 60s and low to mid80s inland this afternoon. Lets check the satellite and radar view and theres that ridge of High Pressure. Just to our west and the pacific and this low pressure system up across the Pacific Northwest ushering in the marine influence for us and that strong onshore flow. We have the typical july weather pattern of warm temperatures inland and mild around the bay and cool at the coast. Taking you hour by hour on futurecast. And you see you can see that clearing as we go through the day for most of us. And then as we head through tomorrow were going to see plenty of sunshine for all of us as those temperatures climb in the afternoon as a ridge of High Pressure really strengthens and builds back in for us. So temperatures are running for the south bay upper 70s in santa clara and sunnyvale and cupertino. Low 80s campbell and low 80s for los gatos and morgan hill. For the east bay 84 for concord and Pleasant Hill and 85 in fairfield and antioch as well as for brentwood. Upper 70s to low 80s for the trivalley. Around the bay, were looking at mid 60s for San Francisco and sausalito and upper 60s in oakland and san leandro. Live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. And it is very light this morning. Good conditions out of the east bay working into the city. Traffic is moving nicely off the eastshore freeway as well. Light conditions expected today for the Holiday Weekend. A lot of folks have the day off. As well as maybe taking ab early weekend. So Golden Gate Bridge looking good as well. No delays right now. Coming out of marin county. 101 both directions pretty light north and southbound and not seeing any troubles right now through the waldo grade. So if you are taking 101, out of marin, traffic should be moving nicely. The san mateo bridge a great start morning. Just to give you perspective, taillights are working their way to 101 and getting on to 101 through the peninsula both directions looking good and the east bay heading to 880 and hayward. Traffic is light along the nimitz freeway. The travel times, Altamont Pass so far so good. 20 minute drive time 205 as you head to 680. Eastshore freeway, give yourself 13 minutes to make that ride on that westbound side from hercules all the way to the macarthur maze and again no delays at the bay bridge.
