The state has given 77,000 test in the past 24 hours in the Positivity Rate was a little more than 5 . That is a small increase from the rate that was recorded earlier this week. The governor is asking one county in Southern California to reinstate its day at home order because the Positivity Rate in Imperial County is 23 . He said the social network will bar any ads with hateful content such as those expressing contempt for immigrants or refugees. It will also label posts from politicians that break its rules including those from president trump. Facebook refused to take action against trump posts that suggested mail in ballots will lead to voter fraud but he said people deserve to hear unfiltered stations statements from politicians. He spoke out at the changes at a virtual town hall. There is no newsworthy exemption to contact the incites violence or suppresses voting. Even if a politician or Government Official says it, if we determine that content may lead to violence or deprive people of their right to vote, we are going to take that content down to matter who says it. I think there is a lot going on that is causing this to happen. Who becomes the arbiter of what is hate speech . We have heard the argument before. This is just political speech and how i believe in my First Amendment right. Who says that something posted on facebook is hate speech . Who determines that . It is really tough. It is worth noting that when it comes to the government, hate speech is something that is allowed. There is a Supreme Court case about not sees being able to march in the middle of the jewish neighborhood. When it comes to private companies they are not governed by the First Amendment. They can do whatever they want. What it comes down to is facebook at the moment is starting to say okay, we will set certain rules around the biggest extreme stuff. The price we pay for that is strong winds. They will kick up tomorrow afternoon. We will start the day with strong gusts along the coast.
