He never did. That is because he was never home. He was in a City Council Meeting to discuss the use of force between police and protesters. Unfortunate, unnecessary. A misuse of force. Someone needs to be held responsible. Reporter when demonstrators realized he was not home they decided to march to city hall to get his attention and that is where they remain at this hour. Right now, firefighters are trying to contain a wildfire in sacramento county. The first calls came in around noon today and within a few hours it erupted to thousands of acres. Crews faced tough conditions with the wind and warm temperatures. At last check it burned more than 5,000 acres and 60 contained. Evacuations are in place but it is unclear how many homes are in danger. Another overcast night for the bay area. And here is something we rarely see, snow in june. Even though one of the videos, included her license plate, investigators havent been able to find her. The case is being presented to the City Attorneys Office as we speak. I dont know what sections there are. I dont. Lot of this might possibly might not rise to the level of a crime and some of it may. Reporter she isnt a victim but says she was assaulted at the mall by her in october. She says it happened in a restroom where there are no security cameras but she took pictures on her phone. A 14yearold organized a march of her own and she told us she was scared her mom wouldnt give her permission and was surprised when she said yes. I was surprised she said yes. I thought she would say this is in the middle of a pandemic and we are facing a lot of racism just for being asian because of this covid19 pandemic. And how it originated in wuhan, china. And so she was kind of scared at first that we were going to do it but then later she was more accepting to the idea. Her mother says she was scared to let her daughter do the event because of racism she had witnessed. That china virus is very specific to your race, your background, and it just hurts. When her daughter asked permission she said it just made sense. She said we have to start somewhere. We will get there. Wow i think as a teen you are ahead of me thinking already. That get me thinking okay she should do this and she should do it with her friends and they have the belief and determination to change the world. Why not .
