The fbi investigating whether he is linked to the deadly shooting of a federal Security Guard in oakland. The bureau of San FranciscoOffice Confirmed it in a Statement Today to kpix. Officer David Underwood was gunned down in front of a Federal Building on may 29. It happened during a night of unrest when an oakland protest turned violent and a white van was seen speeding away from the scene. An investigation is under way in oakland after a driver was shot and killed by a Highway Patrol officer. Officials have not released details about what led up to the confrontation. We are told it happened around 10 45 last night in the east side of the city near 96th and cherry street. A woman in the car was stable c the hospital. Those deputies were cleared of charges and activists say they will continue to fight for his cause. In oakland, chopper 5 spotted a large crowd protesting outside Police Headquarters there. Across the bay in San Francisco, thousands rallied in the streets. They started in the marina and marched their way toward north beach. The group ended up at the Police Station on vallejo. Bands of rain have been coming onshore for hours even though the organized spin just came onshore about an hour and a half ago. Look where its going to rain the next 24 hours. Some locations will see as much as 10 inches. It will be busy on the gulf coast from cristobal. Over the civic center. How did we do today . Top gusts, sfo, momentarily hit a peak gust at 41.
