Phase 2 is expected to open up retail stores, flower shops and other Small Businesses with modifications. The numbers are still going up. Reporter San Francisco mayor hinted the city may have its own rules that may be more strict because we are not seeing enough down turn. The number of deaths are still going up and we have not lowered the curve. If you look at Orange County data, there is a blip in cases. Went from 70 a day to 140 a day for a couple days. He cant believe the governor is considering giving facilities full immunity from lawsuits and criminal prosecution. Dont just listen to the lobby, listen to the families of people that suffered. Reporter he couldnt agree more. Granting immunity is saying to these facilities go ahead, do anything you want. Reporter over the last two years at least 50 of Nursing Homes in california have had Infection Control and prevention deficiencies. She facilities the facilities were ill prepared to control covid19. We dont require the staffing they need. Dont require the money gets paid to the staff. And not into the pockets of the owners of the facilities. Reporter a wave of lawsuits could have devastating effects to the longterm care industry. We have care givers who are doing their best every day against impossible odds and to allow the second guessing of those care givers would be really unfortunate. As the truck driver pulls back on to the freeway, another camera captures the suspect jump back into view and then on the back of the wine truck with no shirt and shoes, he rides on the side of the tanker.
