And the reality is, even though children are not exhibiting as serious effects of this great illness, they can still carry this illness, take it home to their parents, to the grandparents, and we really are trying to protect our vulnerable population. Different direction is day, today it is to the north and northwest. Showers near oakland, they have pretty much faded off the radar entirely at this point in the showers in southern Alameda County and northern Santa Clara County will fade off the radar as well. Futurecast indicates that as we head to the rest of this evening. By 11 00 we are down to nothing. As we head through the rest of the night, we could see a couple showers trying to sneak up from the south but i think futurecast is overdoing it. May be a little mist or drizzle along the coast, otherwise things are looking pretty calm as we head through most of saturday. Again, some clouds and the computers are so used to developing showers now that theyre kind of getting carried away. This is one of the forecast models, easier to use for guidance. They are not gospel. Our rain chances tomorrow are going to be low overall. Right now is a look south, things are looking good over the bay. Temperatures in the upper 50s but mostly low 60s, just below 60 degrees right now in the city, but still 63 in oakland. Also 63 degrees in concord and santa rosa. 60 degrees on the nose right now in san jose. Low temperatures tonight dropping back down to the 40s, almost exactly normal for the middle of march. Tomorrow, a nice warmup, a few degrees warmer than today, above average temperatures for a change. Everybody is in the 60s, it is just a matter of where. Mid60s right around bay, low 60s along the coast and upper 60s further inland but i think most spots will stay below 70 degrees. Just as warm on sunday but with a better chance of showers, and the best chance overall will be over the south bay. A chance tomorrow, much better chance on sunday but it will not be all day. That will arrive late in the day, right here the rain chances go down a little bit on monday, up a little bit on tuesday, they go down again for wednesday and thursday. Just going to go back and forth as ripples in the atmosphere continue to scoot through. Just an unsettled pattern as we head through most of next weekend in the mountains it will be snow and a fair amount of it. Another chance to put a good dent in that snowpack deficit in the high sierra, especially right here, just plain rain.
