Also an investigation going on right now in morgan hill after a shooting left two men entered and a lot of questions this morning as far as the motives or suspects in this case. Morgan hill police got a call of shots fired at around 8 00 last night. They did not find anything. When they got to the scene, the two men ended up in a hospital in san jose. They are now in the hospital with serious injuries. What of their injuries is life threatening. And again, the Investigation Continues back in morgan hill, where there are a lot of shell casings left at the scene. Back to you. Developing this morning the Oakland Police chief is out. Last night, and kirkpatrick was fired during a closeddoor meeting. The Police Commission voted unanimously to join mayor schaaf in terminating the chief of police. The termination is without cause, meaning the Oakland Police commission was not obligated to give specific reasons. But the Commission Chair said during a News Conference they had lost confidence in kirkpatrick over time. Due to ongoing problems within the department. She stood up and came to oakland three years ago in the wake of a very shameful episode for our department. But i must respect the authority and role of our independent Police Commission. Sources with the city tell kpix some of the issues with kirkpatrick stemmed from failing to uphold reforms after a lawsuit for Police Misconduct 20 years ago. However, there were signs of growing tension between the chief and those who oversee her. Kirkpatrick is entitled to what yours paid to the tune of 270,000 if she signed a released. The Oakland Police Officers Association reacted to the firing in a statement think about, Oakland Police officers are disappointed in the actions of the Police Commission and the mayor. Procter gamble says its sources products were about 400 different suppliers in china. 9000 different materials, then turned into 17,000 different items. It will feel a big impact as well as consumers in the u. S. China south more than 90 drop in car sales over the first two weeks of february. And chinas government is unleashing a massive brush of stimulus measures including cutting Interest Rates and other measures in order to help companies that are really struggling under this outbreak. That has helped out the stock market. China trying another big day today. That is cutting into losses here on wall street. But we are losing ground for the second straight day. And taking a live look at the Richmond San Rafael bridge right now, where the bicycle and pedestrian path will be closed forhoea starting monday thromarch 13th. The bridge will be closed from 9 00 a. We do have a backup here at the san mateo bridge. You can see some flashing lights there off to the side. A looks like that vehicle at one point was stuck in lanes. So getting slow through there,. So sluggish across the span. And then button bridge looking a lot better if you want to use that to get across 880 over towards 101. You might need the dumbarton bridge until they clear the activity. Using 880 right now, starting to thicken up just a bit past the coliseum. Southbound, youre looking good, though. But you will have brake lights as you head into hayward. Those temperatures will be on the rise for you as well. 70 at 2 00 pm and 73 for a high in san jose today. So we are looking at incredibly warm temperatures for this time of year. Now, the tracking this low pressure system just off the coast as that pushes inland, it will bring in the bring to Southern California and the desert southwest. That could of low. And there is a chance to see a shower or a sprinkle for the south debate. A little bit closer to the that low. But you can see on futurecast, those clouds streaming in as we head through our afternoon. This weather model doesnt even show that shower chance for thus far south bay. Police got a shots fired call around 8 00 last t near Cochran Police said that they had two shooting victims from morgan hill. Both have serious injuries. No word on the suspects or a motive. As a result, Mcclymonds High School is closed indefinitely, earns are demanding answers, worried about the Health Impacts this chemical known as tce may have already had on their children. Some parents say theres been a lack of information on what has been happening lately. The just said it found tce in the groundwater after a series of tests. All of the Drinking Water is not affected. Continue testing will now happen because vapors from polluted soil and groundwater can move into buildings and contaminate the indoor air. Councilmember Lynette Gibson mcelhaney says the contamination as on to the long history of Environmental Justice in this historic black neighborhood and that the contamination did not originate at mcclymonds. So the School District says it will do what it can to accommodate its roughly 350 students in case the closure extends into next week. It looks like was found four is busy as well with a 36minute drive time from antioch over to hercules. If youre heading to the bay bridge, it is later than usual for a real quick. But it is friday led so traffic a bit better there. Not backed up quite to the maze at this point. Some good news there. Metering lights are still on and a better news to report on the peninsula, those delays are thin out. North 101, though, at the south bay is getting a bit breezy ride around that 280 680 connector.
