It took a lot longer than a couple years to get us into permanent housing but i think i made the right decision. Reporter after years of waiting, the family finally settled into a new home. Miranna graduated high school and headed to uc davis. But wendy had educational dreams of her own. I decided once we got here that i needed to have an education so i started at the Junior College while we were still homeless. Reporter from there, wendy completed her degree at sonoma state, graduating just last year. Now she works at the same Homeless Services agency that helped her family get back on its feet.
