On 680 northbound right at calaveras road, lookout for a trouble spot. The left lane is blocked and 70 minute drive time 680 as you work your way through 580. Arot to contend with this morning along 280. It looks like they have a fog advisory. And a crash in the north bay, 101 and so three lanes are blocked. Slight delays as you approach as they come. Breaking news this morning, video from the citizens app, i want to learn fire in open it started before 3 am in the 3800 block of west region that is not far from the intersection of 580 and 24. No word yet on any injuries or if anybody was inside the building when it caught fire. We will bring you more information as we get it this morning. The city of dublin is mourning the loss of three teenagers. The teenage boys were killed in a crash on christmas night. Hour mark sarah tells us more about the victims. Reporter the victims in this crash attended school here at Dublin High School. They sent out a message about the tragedy and the entire community is grieving. This is what foothill road in pleasanton looks like at night. There are few reetghts and the roy at thsite of the accident is completely dark. The lights on the left side of your screen mark the spot where the car went off the roadway and crashed into a tree. I just felt the need to be here today. Reporter Karen Chamberlain works as a campus supervisor at Dublin High School when she heard the twins mark and michael were two of the victims in the crash and she was devastated. They were always together. Mark and michael. They were very handsome young men. Very personable, very kind. A lot of friends. Very social. A 13 identified as Javier Ramirez was also killed and two others were thrown from the vehicle. The chp says the crash was reported just before 10 pm on christmas night. The car was traveling southbound on foothill road approaching castlewood drive when it veered across the oncoming lanes and crashed into a tree. We heard screeching of tires. Reporter a neighbor heard the crash and called 911. The car was pinned against the tree. Roof first. It was on his side. It was better to see shape around the tree the cabeing wha you could repothe oue holiday break so the news of the crash is traveling via social media. My heart breaks for the family and the students. At this point the chp says it does not suspect alcohol was involved in this crash. Reporting in dublin, mark sayre, kpix 5. The city of dublin released a statement saying, quote, the city centers deepest condolences to the families of those students who perished or were injured in last night devastating crash. They also thanked the Emergency Personnel who responded. Developing news this morning, murder suspects have yet to face justice. The victims family is speaking out. Earlier this month a man tried to rob a 19yearold Madison White carol at a corner store at 98 and e street in oakland. She fought back and tried to film her attacker with her phone. The man and shot her and escaped. He was later identified as roberto martinez. Oakland please think he fled the country and now madisons family once the case to be made public. We want him extradited and we want him here and we want to face trial for what he has done. Madison needs justice and we are not going to stop writing until we get justice for madison. Oakland police are also investigating two other crimes where shots were fired near that same area where madison was killed. Its not clear if those investigations are connected. 4 36 right now. We have developing news from kazakhstan. At least 12 people have died in a commercial plane crash. Authority taken as often as he put the death toll at 15, but revised it downward. 49 people were taken to hospitals. The flight had 95 passengers and five crew members on board. The investigation happened back in march along the international boulevard corner. Police identified Joshua Johnson of oakland as the victims kit.
