We get about a half inch of rain if you average it out across the bay area. So thats good rain. The other item to talk about here is the possibility of snow down to about 3500 feet. That means the mountains down here in the south bay, specifically Mount Hamilton which sits up above 4,000 feet and you can drive up to it if you have 4 wheel drive and chain, a little less than an inch of snow, so thats a White Christmas scenario. But that snow wont start falling until about 2 00, 3 00 in the morning Christmas Day and should be done by 10 00 to 11 00 in the morning.
