Long lines snaking around the terminal. The internet was down since last night when a car crashed into the cables. Kiosks were useless. That forced staff to check customers in manually. After her delivery the woman wases to watch the customer walk away. She then checks to see if the coast is clear before carrying it away. Police reached out to door dash for information on the woman. Some point to a New California law as encouraging this crime. A package theft of less than 950 a misdemeanor. That means suspects will get a written citation. Fair to say slap on the wrist. A woman who dropped off food was walking away with several mail packages. In Southern California a manhunt after a suspect in a standoff got away. Police got a call this morning to respond to an armored truck robbery outside of a bank of america. Investigators say three suspects approached armed guards servicing the atm and forced them into a truck where the victims were disarmed and tied up. A s. W. A. T. Team was able to rescue the guards and in the middle of this the suspects ran away. Two of them were captured but one did escape. I feel terrible. Feel scared. Lost money. It is bold. You know . And it isnt in a town square or park. One family sets it up at their home and we sent kpix 5s joe vazquez there to find out how they make the magic happen. Reporter what you see is one house at the end of the cul desac. But it is one of the largest holiday displays in all of new york. A retired software engineer. They have been putting up decorations in the front yard since 1981. Around 2000 they added the backyard. Each year it gets more intricate. They are up to 400,000 lights. A thousand extension cords. The line to get in goes down the block. They get 15,000 visiters a year. Man last night, 27 years he had been coming through here and he had his grandkids and his daughter and the Third Generation of family. We have three and four generations of people that come through. They put so much work into it. It is always different. Every year there is something new. This year there is snow. There wasnt snow last year. Reporter they accept donations to help off set the electric bill but wont say how much it is. We tell them if they want to pay it, we will tell them what it is. It is a secret. The Jewish Community gathered in downtown San Francisco to celebrate lighting up the menorah at union square. It has been going on since 1975 and since it was started by concert promoter bill graham, no surprise there was live music. The first time in more than two centuries there will be no Christmas Mass at notre dame cathedral. The singers are part of the choir there. They have been rehearsing at a nearby church as notre dame was nearly destroyed in a fire in apple. They had little choice put to cancel Christmas Mass. I missed christmas at notre dame last year. The great white sharks are sneaking up on the otters while floating on their backs.
