Crews have responded to eight small fires today near the dry creek pioneer Regional Park just east of union city. Officers say this man, Roman Montalvo started those fires and they have been contained. Ten acres of parkland went up in flames. Search is on for a suspect who stole a van carrying dozens of San Jose Police uniforms. Kpix5s maria medina has more. Reporter a driver for a dry cleaning service that picks up, cleans, and drops off uniforms for officers here at the Police Department was carjacked yesterday morning. In the van, more than 60 uniforms. It would be disastrous if somebody got ahold of these uniforms and go commit crimes. Reporter San Jose Police are trying to track down who stole a van carrying more than five dozen spd uniforms. The suspect approached the driver of the van and demand he get out here at rebecca way yesterday morning. It is unknown if he knew it belonged to a dry cleaning company. Thats not all that was in there. A source says there were also cleaning slips with names and phone numbers. Now you have to be concerned if you are a Police Officer and someone retaliating against you because you are in law enforcement. Reporter jeff harp says if the uniforms fell into the wrong hands, it would be concerning to the community. But a crime the suspect should think twice about. It will be taken very seriously. If someone is caught with one of these uniforms impersonating an officer, there will be no holds bard on this. Reporter the suspect abandoned the van and it was discovered today in san jose. Now police are trying to figure out if off the uniforms are accounted for. People are extremely cautious and the fact that we are getting this out in the media will heighten the fact people will be more cautious. Reporter and the suspect did not show a weapon when he carjacked the victim. For now, there is no description on what the suspect looked like or what he was wearing. At the San Jose Police department, maria medina, kpix5. Tonight, we are learning more about the deadly shooting at an airbnb in orinda. Multiple guns at that halloween party. Five people were killed. Da lin has more from orinda. Reporter neighbors are showing their support for the victims dropping off flowers and notes. There were at least four guns at that halloween party. The Surveillance Footage shows what happened after gunfire erupted inside an illegal halloween party. One man pacing back and forth behind a neighbors car holding a gun in his left hand. People in the background were screaming. Another man later joins him. The man in the orange jacket tucks his gun in his pants before tying his shoe laces. Both men walk away. We decided to blur their faces for now because went dont know their rule in the shooting. The Contra Costa Sheriffs Department declined to comment on the video. They have not made any arrests and have not released any suspect information. Investigators say they did recover two guns inside the house. We dont know if the recovered guns were used in the shooting. It is violence. My heart goes out to the victims families. Reporter many neighbors are fearful to show their faces. Firefighters are getting closer to containing the kincade fire in sonoma county. The 77,000acre fire is 72 contained tonight. The strike team has been fighting all the blazes burning across the state. Once crews got control of the kincade fire, the menlo park based team was redeployed 400 miles south to the easy fire in simi valuely and the maria fire.
