They will not be offering reimbursements to any of its customers for any losses incurred during the power shut down. In the middle of all of this pg e said it needs to raise rates. A typical resident will pay an extra nine dollars a month. The average electric bill will be about 130. The latest rate hike would start january if the puc signs all. High surf advisory in effect. Reporter biologist cannot say if the whales unusual behavior was linked directly to the earthquake. The timing they say certainly suggest a connection. Researchers say the sound produced by an earthquake is similar to that used by whales to communicate. They say they certainly would have heard it. And conceivably responded to it.
