We operated 120 cities globally and for us this is reallywhgo e cease anto kind a pause on y progress for the city . For us that was about listening to the city, complying with it, we applied through a permit process. At the same time we waited until the city would permit us to operate. We are also in san jose and oakland and for us it didnt feel like a pause. It felt like we can have an opportunity to grow and learn and implement our best practices here in the city of San Francisco. Reporter and now there are some rules that go along with this whole permit pilot program. One of them being no scooters on the sidewalk. We have a first ride event today in the bayview at 10 30 a. M. To educate our users and we will have several more to teach them the proper rules of regulations in San Francisco. Reporter why is that so important to you guys . Do you th t of confusion about how to use these things . I dont think theres confusion. I think that we want to ensure that everyone is safe and its a focus on safety. We found that in the data the majority of incidents that happened in scooters happened on someones first trip. And that just means that we need to give people an opportunity to ride in a safe environment in order to feel comfortable on the streets. Reporter and theres a big vote happening today about one big street in San Francisco, potentially not allowing cars on certain parts of that. Traffic stays slow at least to grant line and improves through the Livermore Valley and then you will see extra volume as you connect over to 680 at the dublin interchange. No accidents along 680 or issues northbound but a busy ride working your way through there. Another part of 580, a crash westbound 580, not too far from that highway 13 connector. Looks like at least one lane is blocked. Its not really causing a lot of problems right now. Still pretty early as you head through that portion of 580. So both directions should be moving pretty nicely in that area. Southbound nimitz freeway, though is loaded up, we have got this trouble spot near tennyson. Its causing stopandgo conditions through there but once past that and onto the san mateo bridge, much better on the span.
