We are getting new information out of oakland where two le were injured in three shooting that happened just before midnight last night. Last night and this morning. Here is a look at the map of the scenes of the shootings, one on eighth street in west oakland. A person was hit in the ankle. Another on macarthur in east oakland and no one was injured. And another just before 2 00 this morning, person was hit in the neck on fairfax in east oakland. Both of the people that were injured are expected to survive, but police are still investigating and at this point, they dont have information on any possible suspects to give haening today, a big moment for the defense team in the ghost ship trial as it resumes this morning. One of the two codefendants, max harris, is expected to take the stand. Jackie ward joins us with more. Leading up to this moment, the defense brought in several witnesses this week last week to give the character testimony in support of max harris. Harris was the Creative Director. He and the Master Tenant base 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter, one count for each of the 36 people who died in the fire. The judge throughout a plea deal that many believed to be a done deal citing alleman iss lack of remorse. The plea deals were negotiated as a package. The defense says it is arsonists who are to blame and explain what the witness heard that deadly night. A relative had taken the gun away by the time police arrived. And he no longer posed a threat when officers shot him.
