That the charge, conduct altered the outcome of the 2016 election. So, first year of college, i would like to pay for it. Reporter these students feel like mvps thank to kevin durant. My parents cant help me pay for certain things let alone for food. Not even a comforter when i go to college. We were struggleing to pay for all of those things. Reporter alicia demeri won the peninsula boys and Girls Club Youth of the year award. Finalists also won. Kds Charity Foundation promised to pay for all four students freshman division. I started crying. I guess it kind of hits you, like, my parents cant afford it. Reporter alicia, accepted to loyola, wants to study music and social justice. I always felt i wasnt good enough. So when someone believes in you enough to pay for a year of your College Tuition it is like okay, i think i got this. Reporter each student has struggled with homelessness. Now, they have a ticket to their dreams. Im first generation in my family to go to college. Reporter and they are dreaming big. First, a mayor, then a governor, a congressman. And then, eventually.
